I always thought Ma Long carried an air of unperturbed efficiency with him. Total poker face.
When winning it looked soooo easy for him but even sometimes when losing he mostly looked the same, calm and concentrated.
The Chinese actually noticed when studying his game that a 30 second break between points was his perfect game rhythm and his success rates coincided with this game timing.
Incidentally this dropped to 17 seconds in game he had lost, either cos opponents rushed or he himself rushed between points due to stress or pressure. I never noticed it from watching on TV or YouTube but there you go.

Waldner certainly looked effortless at most times too and the looks he would give opponents while winning points when it seemed he was hardly trying certainly broke a few players.
Haven't seen enough of the others to comment there.

Moat candidates will almost never cho and for me, that makes it 3 lefties ‐ Niwa, Sora and Lin YJ. Tough call for me but I will go with Niwa.

Only sometimes when he's winning. He becomes a screaching banshee or a tanteummy kid depending on whether he is winning or loosing too like his japanese seniors a lot, especially check the semi against anders lind recently or finals against trula in the tourney beforwm
