I have pretty much stopped EJing especially blade wise after over 35 blades and different rubbers because I found a great setup. Something I think some pros would probably be happy using or at least gives me the impression what I can do with it is close to what the pros are doing. It the Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon blade and a sponsored player National H3 blue sponge for FH and D05 or Stiga Mantra Pro H for BH. I may have to keep looking for an alternative to the H3 just in case my connection can't get the used rubber anymore.
It's a great feeling when you look at your racket and think, "I can't believe I did that, that's like some pro shots" to "yeah, I can play like a pro if I can read the spin and react correctly more consistently" to "ooh, let's try this pro move out" and your gear supports you and it's all set and all you need to do now is to improve your gameplay.
That doesn't mean I don't try out club member gear but most of the time it's "no. it's crap" or "yeah it's good and I could live with it but mine is better".
