With all credit to Hugo, am disappointed with Soras performance. He wants to blast everyone off the table, but it doesn't always work that way in TT. He has to think about strategy for each player. He can learn a thing or two from Harimoto. I love Sora, but getting frustrated with his antics. He is young, am sure he'll learn over time.
I think it was after a timeout and discussion with Coach Morizono that Sora varied the power so that he's not just feeding pace to Hugo who just eats it up. I think in the future he'll do this naturally, but it's a learning process for him. He'll be token #1 on October 5 when last year's China Smash points expire, and it's nice to have that in his portfolio. But his true potential is yet to be seen. With all credit to Hugo, am disappointed with Soras performance. He wants to blast everyone off the table, but it doesn't always work that way in TT. Care to elaborate?
I think authoritative is a good word here. I think Morizono knows what he is doing with Soras, but I think it is not coming off.Having an authoritative and tactically astute person in your corner makes all the difference, especially if you're as psychologically and tactically immature as Sora Matsushima
To be fair, he successfully blasts 99% of people off the table. With all credit to Hugo, am disappointed with Soras performance. He's a fun watch. I'm good with it. Djokovic was a wild youngster but matured. Maybe he struggles with self control in general though. Seems like he needs a minder at the buffet cart too. With all credit to Hugo, am disappointed with Soras performance.
