So much talk about LSD being exhausted playing non stop events with deep runs, but he's even going for a Contender in the week between Montpellier and Frankfurt?!

Wouldn’t be surprised if he purposely loses first round to save his energy

LSD needs to keep his WR2 for WTTC 2025 by renewing the expiring points. Both FZD and ML already have 2 ZPP (3 with WTT CS Montpellier 2024) and WCQ has 1 ZPP (2 with WTT CS Montpellier 2024).

He's not there for MS only (no separation by association and minimal seeding make the draw unpredictable as well). He needs the points for XD as well. 895 out of the current 4195pts will expire before 1/2025 and they have only played 7 events.

FWIW, Satsuki Odo is currently the 4th highest ranked Japanese woman and has a chance to leapfrog Mima Ito in ranking. Mima has 175 points expiring next Tuesday with 90 points in reserve for a net loss of 85 points. That puts Odo within 117 pts of Mima. If Odo can make it to the finals (worth 280 pts) she will be take Ito's current ranking spot of WR#8. But the danger is that going deep into this tournament could exhaust her and leaves less time to rest/prepare for Champions Frankfurt. But the nice thing about the Champions events is that you don't play more than 1 match a day unless you get to the SF. And some days you might not be scheduled to play at all.

Even though Hirano is WR#11 and Odo is WR#12, Hirano is currently 645 pts below Odo. She will be in trouble when Hayata comes back as there is a NER limit of 4 players per country for WTT Champions events and she is the fifth highest ranked Japanese woman.

The Race to WTT Finals is still ongoing. Odo's win at Montpellier qualified her for Fukuoka. Hirano is in the lead position for one of the remaining spots and will most likely make it in.

Can anyone tell them that their Men's Doubles tab is displaying WD's information?View attachment 32810
same as mens double winner, holding a women's double trophy lol (ps, one of the mens got the mens trophy, the partner had a womens trophy, so we called that a mixed doubles trophy set)

Dima withdrawed from this event despite got Host Wildcard, will he get ZPP like LYJ? He can't use injury as an excuse if he still attend next week's Champions.
It depends if he has used his 2 free withdrawals.

You don't play multiple matches per day in Frankfurt even if you advance to the final. Montpellier for some reason started midweek. Frankfurt starts on a Sunday and ends on a Sunday for a total of eight days.
