Kyoka Idesawa is in the qualifiers. It will be interesting to see how far she can go. She gave Qian Tianyi a lot of trouble at the 2023 World University Games.

She beat her in the team final, but lost to her in the singles final. She's beaten tons of good players including He ZhuoJia, Miwa, Hirano, Kihara, Nagasaki, Odo, Sato, Ojio, Han Ying, Shan Xiaona, and probably more I can't think of. It's unfortunate she's likely going to have to play Zhu Yuling in the 2nd round, but anyone that hasn't played her before is probably always caught off guard so anything could happen.

Looks like KM had a lot of trouble gauging Han's spin variation. I saw a lot of KM's counter loops dumped into the net or off the table.
