She beat her in the team final, but lost to her in the singles final. She's beaten tons of good players including He ZhuoJia, Miwa, Hirano, Kihara, Nagasaki, Odo, Sato, Ojio, Han Ying, Shan Xiaona, and probably more I can't think of. It's unfortunate she's likely going to have to play Zhu Yuling in the 2nd round, but anyone that hasn't played her before is probably always caught off guard so anything could happen.
idesawa is an amazing player. So difficult to handle the first time you play against her.

Fun fact: I once played a competition and she was on the table next to mine !!

Kyoka 3-1 (3,-8,6,3) over Yang Haeun. She's got a really good shot at winning this tournament. She's her T-League team's ace player when Shin Yubin is not there. SYB recently just renewed her contract with Kyushu Asteeda for the '24/'25 season.

Kay beat Yuto - very interesting. Maybe he is getting readier for primetime... where is Bertelstein these days?
Yuto was off form and didn't play to his usual level, it's been 3 matches per day for him since the first qualifying round, Kay played 2 matches prior to this over 2 days.
Singles and doubles with Ueda for Muramatsu.

Stumper played his 3 singles matches really well so far.

Chien Tung-Chuan is on the right track. The multi-shot-exchange sytle could really see a comeback.

Not bad for Idesawa in her first WTT event, with a style that's even more limited and prone to familiarity among combination players.
