乒乓球一直以來令人印象深刻的是內地較強的項目，被問到WTT是怎樣幫助這項運動走進國際化時，丹頓表示很希望乒乓球能更進一步走向國際化，因此在歐美投入了更多資源去擴展市場，他也表示：「我們需要WTT出現在電視上，我們需要讓觀眾看到我們，我們需要為那些開始接觸這項運動的孩子們帶來希望，讓他們知道未來充滿美好，不僅在亞洲，在世界其他地區也是如此。所以我們正在做很多工作，這需要更多的時間。但沒錯，這就是我們應對這種情況的策略。」他也表示WTT能夠為球手和品牌帶來更多曝光並增加收入，他說：「乒乓球運動對經濟產生了巨大的影響。我們可以看到，由於乒乓球賽事的高水準普及，吸引了越來越多的贊助商，這使得乒乓球比以往任何時候都更加引人注目，也讓品牌和贊助商獲得了更多的曝光機會等等。因此，從這個意義上講，乒乓球的生態系統也得到了改善。」丹頓也表示隨著賽事增加也開始考慮選手的健康和福祉，並會嘗試平衡2者。

Table tennis has always been impressively a sport where Chinese mainland is particularly strong. When asked how WTT has helped the sport go international, Dainton expressed his strong desire for table tennis to further expand its international reach. He stated that they have invested more resources in expanding the market in Europe and America, saying,
"We need WTT on television, we need viewers to see us, we need to bring hope to children starting out in the sport, to let them know that the future is bright, not only in Asia, but also in other parts of the world. So we are doing a lot of work, and it takes more time. But yes, that's our strategy for dealing with this situation." He also stated that WTT can bring more exposure and increase revenue for players and brands, saying,
"Table tennis has a huge impact on the economy. We can see that the high level of table tennis events has attracted more and more sponsors, making table tennis more prominent than ever before, and giving brands and sponsors more exposure opportunities, etc. Therefore, in this sense, the table tennis ecosystem has also improved." Denton also mentioned that with the increase in events, they are beginning to consider the health and well-being of the players and will try to balance the two.)
