I took a look at the Youtube stream. The problem has to do with the original interlaced source feed (1080i for OTA TV) that should be de-interlaced for live streaming (1080p for any other electronics that expect the progressive format, e.g. computers/smartphones/tablets).

Yea I just checked the difference between 1080i and 1080p and yea thats probably why the stream looks a bit blurry. What I thought were weird dots in the stream but were actually even and odd lines in the YouTube stream.

1080p - Each frame is drawn completely in one pass.
1080i - Each frame is split into two "fields" (one with odd lines, one with even lines) that are shown one after the other.

Yea unfortunate that Sora lost in the end but he played very well and didn’t give up. Game 7 he was 5-9 then caught up to 9-10.

Agreed. I have said before that without his mentality issues he can literally beat anyone. And we saw that today against WCQ. This was not the Sora we saw against LJK. This was a Sora that gave blood sweat and tears all the way until that last block carried long. I’m a big fan of Sora and his trajectory is nothing short of impressive. He will be a Top 3 player soon at this rate
