Wtf? - she turns 33 this year. She isn't grandma Ni and Germany is a little harder to make the team. Pretty sure Winter didn't expect to be Olympian 2028.
Please don't waste my time. She made herself clear 36 weeks ago.

sabine.winter.92 First of all my condolences to Han Ying who due to her second serious injury this year will miss the Olympics in Paris. I wish her a lot of strength and patience over the next months and a good recovery!

Many people have asked why I'm not in the German Olympic team now. Well some people thought I am not fit enough after my back injury 6 weeks ago.
But in fact I am without pain and physically in good shape again.

The video shows what I've been doing the last couple of weeks. I wonder what I will have to do next time to convince any doubters.

The German mountains just seem to be too easy, so already preparing for K2 now 😉
(Going there by unicycle of course 🤪🤪🤣)

She said the reason why she didn't make the Paris team wasn't injury - it was because she just wasn't selected. So she set her goals for LA 2028, just as she had goals for Paris 2024. What should a top athlete do? Just play without any goals regardless of realistic expectations? If you asked her to give her realistic probability of making LA 2028, then that would be more interesting and she might still place bets on herself with unrealistic confidence.

last year she was national Taiwan champion, with few main players missing though, but still had to go through a tough "rest of the national team" to get the title.
She is still very young and hopefully will see a lot more of her!
Fantastic! S. Korean Women's Team is aiming to overtake Japan, but they need to worry about Taiwan overtaking them!

well, I feel Korea is way ahead of Taiwan .
The youth in Korea is just amazing.
They have youth and experience.

The Taiwanese youth are behind by at least 2 years on experience.

Ah, but only when they're not good enough looking.
Or fat 😂
He wanted Kasumi Ishikawa to retire when she was very young and after 10 years or so of calling for her retirement, he had some celebration on this forum when she finally retired
