I think CM will successfully defend her Olympic gold vs SYS for this reason.I think with Miwa vs Hayata, the real problem Miwa has is the absence of a coach for this level of match and opponent. If both Hayata and Miwa were allowed coaches, it would be to Miwa's advantage I suspect. I think this kind of thing also plagued Fan Zhendong in his tour matches against Ma Long.
I acknowledge the possibility but I don't think the dynamics are as set in that matchup. Sun Yingsha has already beaten Chen Meng in a World Championship final (2023 in Durban). So having a big win over Chen Meng as well as many tour victories means that she can beat Chen in big matches where coaches are not there. Miwa should get there eventually as well, but she isn't there yet, the experience gap is too much and Miwa is too young to figure out all the dimensions.I think CM will successfully defend her Olympic gold vs SYS for this reason.
I can't agree on the lack of power sorry. There aren't any more powerful forehands than that in Europe for sure, and I think the same for the backhand now as well. I think sometimes, the opponent has enough quality to slow her down like Shin, but in general, Pavade has overwhelming forehand power and overall quality.IMO Pavade is not very powerful but her ball has extra spin and her ball placement is awesome. I think of Timo Boll when i see her play.
France is the new China. Félix + Pavade in final in the same tournament (and Lebrun / Gauzy were in MD final as well)
i'm hoping both French players wins the star contenders singlesIMO Pavade is not very powerful but her ball has extra spin and her ball placement is awesome. I think of Timo Boll when i see her play.

Back to back XD titles for Hayata/Harimoto pair. Can Hina make it back to back in WS as well? Her itinerary is Brazil -> China -> Croatia -> Slovenia ... back to back to back to back tournaments.... Amazing that she's even in the WS finals whatever happens with Pavade.very entertaining XD final ! Hayata + Harimoto clinched the title in an epic 5-setter
her consistency is starting to look more and more like a Chinese player comparing to her peersBack to back XD titles for Hayata/Harimoto pair. Can Hina make it back to back in WS as well?
