what's interesting is that Xiom states professional and amateur (feasability) rating for the rubbers.

I wouldn‘t read much into those pictures. They are just to promote their stuff, showing off fancy looking blade handles and edge tape.

There are similar photoshoots with Yoon Hyo-bin and Lee Seung-Soo having hayabusa rackets in their hand. Obviously, these players are not using hayabusa lineup in professional matches

I will agree though that its interesting how the racket he is holding has the Hugo symbol on it, similar as the one on the Hugo HAL. So maybe they changed the layout indeed. We will have to wait and see

you are right, but it was interesting that this would be the only 'non-existing' blade that is used for photo op and then with the hugo logo. let's see!

personally i think it would be good for them to get back on track and to have a buyable blade from their most famous player, especially after they lost their other big promoters like An Jaehyun and Cho Daeseong that had just recently released blades. interesting to see what happens with those blades, too

Its Xiom so sadly the most likely answer is, the blades will be discontinued

but i need to say that i am excited about the omega 8 euro! the omega 5 euro was one of the best backhand rubbers i have tried and only had the problem that it was kinda heavy and maybe not as dynamic as the newest rubbers. the omega 7 was more dynamic but also a lot softer and had less spin and more catapult. so hopefully they fix the spin and then i am happy to change my vega x (that i was never really super happy with)

Seems like only MAX thickness will be available in Europe, at least for now. I asked a reseller.
Shame because o8 series is all about J&H performance while being lighter. I think many people will be interested in using for example o8 pro on BH, especially if it can save weight. In that case, 1.9mm thickness is more attractive than MAX in my opinion

yes i saw that but i get 25% house sale from my tt shop and don’t have expensive shipping cost, so that was sadly never an option just for try something out. not that big of an EJ

That's strange. I ordered O8 Pro and China in 1.9mm from my shop. They told me though that the rubbers are not already delivered to the country and they expect them soon, but didn't mention that 1.9mm was not available.
I'm missing the O8 Hybrid, so I asked about it too, but no reply so far.

Interesting. Of course I can be wrong about it. I just asked one reseller, and they let me know that they will only carry MAX thickness. If other shops will have 1.9mm available, its even better

I havent tried either, but ttgearlab has measured both blades frequencies. I suggest you to check his website out. Hayabusa is quite a bit faster

You can have 2 samples of a single model and have them play noticeably different. I'm not convinced that there much if any difference between OffS and Hayabusa Off just from looking, handles may be different shapes, but visually they look the same in terms of construction
