Yasaka rubber

I have yasaka eqkza 7 soft red 2.0 and I fibd it a bit quick, so I am thinking to buy Yasaka rakza 7 soft black 1.8.
What is difference in speed bewtween 1.8 and 2.0?
Also, I like feeling of yasaka 7 soft, is 1.8 also spiny?

Both the topsheet and sponge engage in creating spin. When you use 1.8mm sponge, you would expect less spin for sure.

I advice in modern game don’t go 1.8mm. 2 mm is the minimum, as we need that extra bit of speed in modern game. More power too. Although there are claims that thinner sponge helps with control, I found it untrue and in fact makes you develop bad technique with the bat very open, not pulling a full stroke.
if its quick you can try to improve the firm grip hitting technique to catch the ball in the rubber for longer time, improving consistency and control. You can also make the action more loopy and less flat hit, more wrist. (I presume its your backhand here)

Just in speed in 2.0 is 100%, what is speed of 1.8?

Better try a slower rubber, than going thinner IMO.
