For G40+ in Balls
Cons
  • odd sound
  • less spin
  • odd bouce
Well, I've tested quite a few plastic balls but I mainly play with the old Ball since most of the teams in my league still use it.

This particular Ball has to be the worsed i tried since the first test balls from palio came out.
My Partner and I tested 6 balls and only one of them seemed round. This round ball had more or less consistent bounce until it broke after about 10 minutes. The bounce was different to other balls but at least it was consitent. As soon as the round ball broke and we continued trying out the others and it was like playing with easter eggs. The new Balls in general are less spinny and slower compared to the old balls but with this ball it felt even worse compared to other pballs. It Feels heavier and the blade and creates a very broken sound. Just like the old testing balls from Palio.

Overall i really dislike this ball.

Well. The Timo Boll Alc for me ist just the classic carbon blade when it comes to modern table tennis. I've played most of the Butterfly Arylate Carbon blades and some people say they all play the same but for me this simply isnt true. The perfect Boll Alc for me weighs around 86 grams and has the best ratio of touch and speed.
I've tried so many different blades but allways came back to the ALC.

For Blocking this blade is crazy stable and just overall very consistent. Players like Fegerl, who is probably the best blocker in the world at this point, rely on this blade. Yet offensive blayers like Boll or Jao Monteiro play this blade too and this sums up my feeling for the blade. Its very stable in all shots and just overall good in every point of the game. It feels kinda hard because of the Arylte Carbon fiber but its still feels more "alive" then other pure Carbon blades.
The only thing that sometimes dissapoints me is the lack of flex of the blade, so i allways have to use enough acceleration to generate enough speed. This only effekts me on lazy days though

I switched to this blade from my Timo Boll ALC for a couple months but I noticed that this blade is not for me.

This blade is completely different to Timo Boll ALC. It gives you more feeling and a longer dwell time.

Meaning you could but more spin on your loops and it is good for flicks.

I would not recommend this blade to beginner players because of the high amount of speed it has! Secondly when you try block with this blade a small mistake and the ball would fly off the table.

When I got used to the blade counter looping, serving, blocks and flicks was so simple it required little effort. The only issue I had was touch play this is much easier with my Timo Boll ALC instead.

I used this blade with Tenergy 05 2.1mm Black on the FH and Tenergy 64 2.1mm on the BH.

The ball does not break as easily as others. Its roundness is comparable to other quality balls. The quality between each ball varies from time to time, but that's just a plastic ball problem.

Used with Hurricane 3 Neo, Hurricane 8, T80, T64, Bluefire M1, Nittaku G-1, Acuda P2, etc.
This blade is a solid choice for control. Although it is not as powerful as a Viscaria, it provides enough power to finish a point. Blocking and doing pretty much anything close to the table is a ease with this. Mid-distance looping is very comfortable because it is pretty flexible. Overall, this is a great choice. I bought two of them at its fantastic price.

I'm not sure if the rubber I got was bad but this is my experience.
First of all, I thought the weight would be kinda like my tenergy. I was wrong.
The rubbers of the Andro Rasant series is incredibly heavy for me (especially when I have a really thin build).
I was hoping the extra softness of the sponge would give me more control but I was not completely right. It did have better control but not in the way I expected. Compared to tenergy 05, it had a more linear and predictable trajectory which made it really consistent.(this is a pretty huge plus)
This was because the rubber was really hard and it felt almost as hard as Rasant which I bought together.
The Rasant Powersponge I received also hard considerably less grip and generated less spin compared to Rasant.
This was disappointing because I could have gotten 2 Rasant rubbers which would have been better than getting the Rasant Powersponge.

If you are a new player and looking for a soft rubber please get Rasant Beat as Powersponge honestly feels no different to the normal Rasant except less grip.
Hope this helps :)

Cons

So far this poly ball hasn't let me down yet.
It is slower than the celluloid balls but not to a degree that will affect my gameplay a lot like Kinson balls(these balls are super hard n slow -.-)
It is pretty decent for poly ball but the price is a real shocker.
Obviously these balls will be great in competition play but not great to buy for multiballs and training.

I have had this blade ever since it launched and there is something about this blade that makes me keep coming back to it.

It is a very well balance blade that is good for Looping, touch play, serving and also blocking. A quality built blade with a beautiful design.

This blade is good for players who like to loop close or mid distance away from the table and also for players who block. But want to add control to heir game.

I have been using this this Blade with Butterfly Tenergy 05 rubbers on both sides.

very good rubber, if the durability make you worried go for 5Q, enough spin, and block with it is a breeze, catapult effect is low in comparing with other tensors like tenergy, MX-P ..etc, it doesn't sensitive to incoming spin and that ease the blocks and serves returning with it, medium throw angle, it is worth a try.

I have used T64 for about 6 months. (It was really pricey for me so i used it for a really long time xD)
I used it on my Donic Burn-Off blade on my FH. I didn't really like it because it was too soft, pricey and less spinny.

What i want everyone to know is that it is a good rubber but *** It is not for everyone ***

What i like about this rubber is that it is good on both BH and FH since sometimes i used it on my bh also.
To me, i think all of the tenergy series suits on both BH and FH.
Lets get into the real deal!

It has a low throw angle which makes it easy for you to make errors.
When i first started using it, my pushes would go off the table or into the net.
It takes quite a while for me to adapt to it.

It is really good for people who is dominant BH player. During BH drive, it helps produce a really powerful BH and easy dropshot.
As for serving, due to the soft rubber it requires a really fast brushy movement in order to produce a really spinny serve but you'll get used to it when you use it.
Its nothing to worry about.
*** Really good for BLOCKING but needs skills***
Blocking with this rubber is almost effortless. Yes. Effortless because of the high tension sponge.
FH topspins and loops, when using it for my FH the topspins and loops i had to adjust my technique but after adjusting, the topspins and loops with this rubber is really great as it gives you explosive speed with the help of the high tension sponge.
Sorry if i made it sound like a butterfly advertisement at some point. xD ahahahaha
*** ALSO, i forgot to about the durability part! After 1month of using it, i already felt some lose to its speed and grip.***
Butterfly should have made it a lot more durable since it is really pricey. Im kinda disappointed. :/

I would recommend this rubber for developing intermediate and above.
This rubber would suit people who prefer mid distance play, soft sponge and for someone who prefer explosive speed instead of spin. ;)
Cheers!

Well I played this rubber for over one and half years now. Mainly on Butterfly Alc blades (Boll Alc, viscaria, maze, if Alc) and on the Korbel eu Version. Im going to try Evolution el-s soon but for now Vega pro is my rubber of choice. I pay 28 Euros per sheet otherwise i would still Play tenergy.

Overall my passive Game is a strong key of winning when i Play against opponents on my Level. For me the Vega pro is just Great here. I can punch block, spin block or chop at will. Passive five Stars plus

However i play when i play against weakerw oponents where i have to play active my first ball lacks speed and often length. Due to the hardness and the lack of catapult you have to play the ball with allot of arm and/or wrist accelerstion. This is not for eveyone. So i would prefere a bit more speed and bounce. Still a great rubber if you but power behind your shots.

It's my BH rubber (from 1,7-1,8m to 1,9-2mm, always with 2-3 layers of Falco).
Really great for near the table fast topspins and blocks (passive or hard blocks).
It has a good arc (my blade isa Cornilleau AeroSoft Carbon Off+ with low trow) and it's not too heavy.
It also chops well in the table and itis very predictable.
Will try FX-S to see if it has a little bit more spin when brushing

It's a great looping rubber with good grip. To me feels better than tenergy 05 to drive the ball.
It's fast enough with 2 layers of booster, it has a linear behavior and due to my tendinitis is way lighter than a MX-P (my previous rubber)
It's a little bit spin sensitive at passive blocks put if you counter top ou usea little wrist it'll be fine.
It's specially good at near the table attacks.
If it was 1 or 2 degrees harder it would beeven better

Good trainning ball for its price. Got 500 for 150 euros with free shipping. More rounded than DHS 40+ 1 star and with better durability. Sometimes I even lightly step over some and they do not dent.

This ball is the most available in my country. It is a little bit expensive 1 dólar each, for a batch of 10 balls, 5 are not well rounded. But, compared to other reviews, mine were more durable than expected. Notice that I use than for multiball and nearly lost 1 ball in each training sesson (1:30h).
