This is now my forehand rubber by preference. It is very spiny and has very good control on blocking. Like many users have said, the price is the issue.

Very good control. The rubber changes to better rubber as you play with it. But not an excellent rubber. Maybe if you boost it with oil than it might become an excellent rubber.

So I used this on a carbon blade for a while after first moving to it in the idea that aslow rubber and a carbon blade will be controllable when I want and fast when needed. This wasn't always true.

Speed:very slow, due to the soft slow sponge and top sheet this rubber is perfect fora beginner, it allows control and precise placement as well as an ability to create spin due to the dwell. However when back from the table and looping to win a point against a opponent a shot you put all your effort into can appear lacklustreas the rubber saps all the force from it. Also it bottoms out very easily.

Control:very good, spin produced is good however when receiving spin the rubber performed very well after moving from Chinese hard rubbers it was nice to have a more forgiving feeling, it also made it much easier to flip a serve back allowing an early attack. But if the attack went on for too long you could find yourself at the mercy or the lack of speed.

Spin:good when washed and new, the top sheet is fairly grippy and soft allowing good spin on every stroke.

Durability:this rubber has good durability, however if you do not look after it the rubber will loose spin fast, this rubber is perfect for beginners on a budget even those learning attacking as long as they buy an offensive blade(more like soft euro rubbers then the cheap Chinese offerings) however it will require a clean every or at most every other use to keep spin at a good level unlike the 729 normal which will continue to produce good spin(if not optimal) even when dirty.

HL3 Review
I only have had this blade for 2 months(90g) and it overtook my waldner legend carbon as mymain blade. The reasons are simple, similar speed levels, however much better control. Rubbers I used on it were:
H3(FH) + Joola RHYZM P(BH)

Sriver G3(fh+BH)

Speed: this blade is fast. Now I’ve only owned afew but they range from ALL+(timo) to the waldner legend carbon(10+ accordingto donic) and this is the fastest I’ve used, however it’s close to the donic. When away from the table or close you've got enough speed to hit a winner that’s all there is to it.
Control: due to the fact the ball seems to stick to the blade forever you can effortlessly move a ball about the table, but this comes at a price, if you cannot control the spin incoming to you it will really bite in and cause issues. But if you have the techniques down and can handle the opponents spin you can use the extra residence to your advantage and either use it for extra spin or for placement.

Hardness/durability: when I first got this blade I wouldhave considered it hard but not very hard. However when replacing the rubbers it became apparent the top is VERY soft, as in varnish or replace after a fewre-glues. Due to this the hardness and durability depends on your choice of lacquer. However it is still quite a hard blade and don’t expect a super soft thing.

Handle comments:

I sweat, A LOT, from my hands playing table tennis, and this blade handle is very ready to soak it in, now this isn’t an issuereally but don’t scratch it after playing as the wood handle when wet dents andscratches quite easily

I really like the fact that the ball seems to skid on this table a lot less than on other tables. The speed is normal and the bounce is not that high but still good.

So the donic Waldner legend carbon was my first adventure into compositeblades and from a non-expert side I'll share my views:

Speed: really quiet fast, a noticeable step up from a infinity VPS V, it'sstiffness allowed fast drives close to the table and due to the oversized headit had some flex allowing an extra fast gear from back from the table.

Control: well if you like hard blades then this is a great blade, f
rom the first time I used it I enjoyed the fact that wherever I angled theblade the ball followed without hesitation, in the long game it was great tooas the slight flex allowed for a bit of extra control dueto the increaseresidence time on the bat.

Spin: While in the short game you can take advantage of the snappycarbon feelof the blade the spin on harder shots is good, if this is down to the hinokiouter plies or the sizeof the face I do not know however good spin was producedwhen required, howevershort punchy shots the spin was disappointing.

Overall I would say this blade is suitable for most attacking players due tothe high amount of control in the blade as well as speed.

At the beginning I wanted to see why are all the chinese national team is playing with that rubber. I was very disappointed. It was so slow and I couldn't finish the point with power. Then I was like how are the chinese nationals so powerful with it. Whatsoever I boosted it... still only spin and no speed so I removed it and after a month or two I saw on the internet that the national version of the rubber is nothing like the commercial and I bought it. Was kinda good but it still lacked speed. Therefore I decided to boost it. And guess what after all this long term searching for the perfect rubber I was satisfied with the result. It was fast and spiny. So the conclusion is don't buy the commercial version, buy the national and boost it. Then you will find the thing you were searching for so long.

I've bought the next version hurricane long w997 and it is simply amazing. It has speed control but at the beginning when I used hurricane 3 nat. version it was really hard for me to produce speed even impossible but after I boosted the rubber it was okay. The biggest con of this blade is that it is really heavy and when you put 2 rubbers it goes around 200 grams and in the first 2-3 weeks the arm and even the whole hand hearts a lot. This blade is more for a professional players, if you are new to the sport I don't recommend it.

A medium hard rubber that has great spin control ratio, when you need a very spinny ball it will get you one, good for short game but away from the table i like it the most, i would like a bit more throw angle but that i can fix with a litle more practice :D

  • Easy to use
  • comes with net
  • good oscilator
Cons
  • not suited 4 40+
It's an easy to use robot, with 3 functions: speed, ball frequency and oscilator speed.
It can send the balls to 6 different locations, ajustable but with one type of spin at the time.
Comes with a net collector.
It's fast enough and can give you a good amount of balls per minute.
Sometimes it jams (about every 150-200 balls) with 40 mm balls.
The 40+ balls tht I've tried went random direction.
You can train blocks, drives, topspin, service returns and loops.
Best suited to learning the basic stokes or to train at home. It's also easy and quick to set it up

Overall the rubber provided me good development of technique and emphasis strokes, service and receives, attacking and drives. However the rubber is very hard meaning less control will be provided and more power will be generated than spin which requires maximum effort to provide the spin you're looking for and also it is hard to lift underspin or pushs due to the low throw angle which is why i'm changing my rubber to a soft rubber to provide me that control and throw angle to lift the ball over the net.

The rubber is overall very good in terms of all play styles, it is a very good starting rubber for backhand or forehand regardless to help you with the development of strokes and technique. The flicking especially is very good in terms of my experience and provides a good opening to my attack and service receive. Blocking is very good with this rubber as it is controlled.

That blade is just amazing. You can be late for the ball and still be able to hit it with so much power. Control is out of this world. It goes well with tenergies and any other medium, medium-hard rubbers. Dwell time is great. Nothing can compare to hinoki blades in terms of feel/touch. The only thing it may lack in the highest level of play is speed and that's probably no pros are playing with it. Short game is super easy, third ball attack and service also amazing. If You are looking for zylon blades because they give more "dwell" time, but You have always plaed all wood blades I would reccomend to try hinoki speial first before buying more expensive composite blades

This blade feels like composite blade, but You can tell the difference from non-zylon carbon blades. It gives much more "feel" and longer ball contact time.
It is not a blade for beginners and it is quite fast, but if You want to try composite blade I would reccomend innerforce series for sure. Counter looping, serving, block is just amazing. the only con I have found is short game. It can be tricky, but with Innerforce zlf or alc I don't think it would be any problem. Price is also high, but it goes with great quality.

Arirang is a 3rd Generation Aramid Carbon blade from Nexy. I cannot say the speed of the blade is such and such, because MANY of the Nexy blades have "Dual Impact" engineered as a feature that gives them a different low and top gear depending on the impact and grip of the user. It might be fair to describe a playing range. Arirang plays in the ALL to very low end of OFF range, yes, the range is that wide!

Arirang will best satisfy a player who really values control, creation of extreme spin on openers, construction of the point, and still have enough oomph to finish a point when the chance presents itself. Hey ! that is how I like to play! Arirang doesn't have that WOW top gear most OFF to OFF+ blades have... but who needs that kind of gear when you play close to the table (or a step away) and don't miss too many shots?

Receiving serves is forgiving, touch not to difficult to execute, and you still feel the ball at impact on a soft shot. Serving is also a good point, heavy spin to no spin is a breeze with the right grip and timing.

Opening topspins and continuous topspins are the core strength of this blade, you gotta hit with it to feel what we say when we say it is special. You feel really confident in your strokes and do NOT feel an urge to end the point on the first micro chance. This allows you to rally a shot or two more vefore pulling the trigger on a big swing.

Countering at the table is easier than the stiff OFF blades.

Counter-Looping rallies from mid distance, what most players consider the sexiest rally shots... WOW, you feel like you can counter ANYTHING. You take what opponent tries to shove down your throat and you ADD to his spin! If opponent is playing where he normally is, then he is positioned a bit too far, because your PLUS topspin will bring the ball down sooner than he is anticipating and he is now struggling to be in a position to continue the pressure.

I cannot tell you how many points I won in a match vs a higher grade topspinning player this way using Arirang.

With Tibhar FX-P, a soft defensive topspin game was also possible. One of my coaches from my home club in Korea can play some mean topspins right at your pocket, too fast to get out of the way and open stance to counter. So, I could slide/bend a little and use a forward slower compact swing with a softer hand and WOW! I could get back those balls and stay in the rally, sometimes, get back the initiative if i surprised coach or placed it right.

If you are are the standard I wanna destroy everything in sight with a powerloop blast that ball kinda player, the control and feel of Arirang and just enough finishing power will still allow you to play and succeed using that style, but honestly, Arirang is about feel and control and is best suited for those players who truly appreciate playing a flexible all-out allround topspin attacking style.
