This is a fantastic rubber and was one of the leading tensor rubbers. Noted as one of the best alternatives for attacking to Tenergy series and at a lower price. This rubber produces high speed and high accuracy shots with a reasonable amount of control. It is fast and for the all out attacking player.

Stiga Airoc M is a great rubber for producing spin with the new ball and maintaining superb control. While it lacks power it is well suited as a backhand rubber or a forehand rubber for a control spinning and more consistent attacking player. It produces a good arc and has a great safety margin on opening balls.

I did a video review with tt11 which covers most areas :D

The Galaxy 896 made by Yinhe (also known as Milky Way) (Confusing, isn't it?) I picked up this blade's product description from Colestt.com and usually, product descriptions are as accurate as a politician's political promises to the public. In this case, Cole hit the nail on the head. There isn't a whole lot you can say about this blade that hasn't been said already. This ALL+ to OFF- (depending on weight of blade and batch) does everything well enough, but has the control with the right mid soft rubbers. It also is very inexpensive. This blade can really spin it up, but it isn't a terrible slouch in the other areas. I recommend this blade to the player who needs a blade to function with, doesn't want to spend a lot of money, and wants to learn to SPIN the ball. When players forst start their TT life, they seem to be very reluctant to spend a lot of money. That is where Cole, eacheng.net, and any one else who resells this fine blade comes in to help out with this blade offering.

I further modify it by taking off the handle, inserting nails or whatever, then fill the empty hollow space in the handle area with wood glue and put it all back together, slap on my favored FH/BH rubber combo, and call it a "Der_Echte Special". Indeed you can create your own weapon of mass destruction for less then the cost of a sheet of modern rubber (if you slap on a USED FH rubber of your choice). I pimp this combo on forums a lot. newer players need a blade that can do many things acceptably well, and spin with control. That is the strength of this blade and new players want 'em cheap in price, but full in function. It doesn't get any better. Don't expect to be blasting balls through walls with this (even with my mod) (Unless you got my BH) but you don't need that if you are well suited for a blade of this speed class. You will make your coach and your wallet happy, then later buy something else you discover and like.

I remember when this first rubber came out from Butterfly. A Chinese style rubber from Butterfly!

I think I used it during 2006. I had it on my forehand side and a few of my other friends had it on the forehand to, we found it excellent for first spin and spinning against backspin. Block also had high amounts of control. However speed glue was definitely needed with this rubber to produce enough speed. I used it on the backhand for a little while to however I found it a bit to hard. A high quality rubber.

I really enjoyed playing with the P5. Similar in a sense to the tenzone where the rebound affect propels the ball off the rubber. However the p5 gives you more control and more spin. I found the p5 was efffective when counter looping as the softer rubber allowed more dwell time on the ball so the feeling it offers you is impressive. The p5 gives you good control for effective flicking (I prefered on the backhand side) as I was able to produce a lot of spin and power when backhand flicking short balls, the added control and overall feeling of the rubber meant that receiving was also very easy as I could direct the ball very accurately. If you are a player looking for a spinny (soft-ish) rubber but still fast then this is a good option.

I love this blade. It really suits my game of attacking spin shots. It is amazing how I can change between speed and spin so easily. Also it is really fast when it needs to be, but I feel very comfortable in the over the table touch game, but also in general when blocking. Nothing to put on this blade. I play this blade with Tenergy 05 on both sides.

When I first played with the adidas tenzone rubber I was impressed. One of adidas' first rubber and like a lot of their products this was high quality.
I fond the rubber fast and quite explosive and the hardness of the rubber adds to the rebound effect when you are playing strong loops.
The amount of spin you can produce is good too as it really propels the ball off of your racquet. The control it has is reasonable but is obviously affected by the fast rebound.

I really hate this rubber. Coming from 05 you really miss out on many qualities. I play on elite level, and the 80 cannot find it's way, it is simply not good enough to compete on high level, just like the Calibra.

I used the Hurricane 3 rubber a few years back and I feel it really helped developing my forehand technique. It does lack speed in comparison to some Tensor rubbers but it really does make you use all your body and arm/wrist to hit a good ball. The rubber has excellent control and you can grip the ball very well due to the tacky surface.

These shoes are worth the money! You are buying an excellent product here. Shoes are very important for my back and knees and I feel these shoes keep me stable when playing. I like how they stay cool after a few matches. My old shoes my feet got very hot and sweaty quickly.

The grip of these shoes are also very good and feel strong when I move side to side.

Review

Serves:

For serving,I loved to twiddle just to use the unique dual speed characteristic.Using the Air Scirroco,,which has a fairly linear throw,I was able to serve short, not so spinny serves(compared to the other rubbers used).I find that when pairing a tacky chinese rubber(Vlon-s),though the spin is great, the feel is completely dead. The Palio has a hardness of 30 deg,and is a fairly spinny rubber.I found that with this rubber,I had the best ball feel and the most control.Balls were put were they were wanted with the perfect amount of spin and speed required.
Using the fh side for serving, here too,I found that chinese rubbers do not fare that well on fh(I normally use tacky chinese rubbers on fh).The serving with the Nexy Demian was definitely the best on the fh.The rubber has a medium high throw, good spin(its a hybrid-tacky topsheet on japanese sponge). Here too,I was able to serve short spinny balls or fast long balls easily.

Serve Receive:

I used the bh to receive backspin balls, which I would drop just over the net. The characteristic of the white ash allowed me to do some very controlled flicks from the bh,as well as more powerful loops when the ball was longer.I prefered using the bh(using the Palio rubber) due to its very controlled nature, but as soon as the ball was coming long to my fh,I was ready to loop with the Demian,my prefered rubber on this blade!

Short Game:

This was one place where the tacky chinese rubbers played great.Leave out the feeling issue, the rubbers are the best in this department. From backspinning to blocking, the chinese rubbers were the best,no doubt.

Close to the table:

Looping:
If you have the stamina of an Arab horse, then tacky rubbers are just right for you. They become an obstruction in your game play(and I normally use tacky chinese,so it aint that I'm not used to it) as 1)they just make an already head heavy blade more head heavy 2)they drain your strength very fast. You have to really HIT the ball for some good pace,as they are very slow.

The softer rubbers were ideal.they are the best for looping with, especially the Demian. The high throw angle just assisted in making it even easier to land the ball with loads of spin.

Blocking:
This is where the bh side is best suited.using the Palio, placement and control was excellent.

Chopping:
I tried a bit of chopping with lp's,but failed terribly.then I used the inverted, and with the Air scirroco,I had a good chopping game.the low throw assisted me in getting my chops to just go over the net.

Smashing:
Nexy Demian here I come!the rubber was good here.though not very fast, there was good pace in the smashes.
I did experiment by twiddling and using the bh side to smash, and when I did this,I found a new dimension to this blade.the whole blade + the rubbers synchronise perfectly to create '1 solid piece of TT equipment'.I found that there was actually more pace using this side with the sicrrocco

Away from the table:

Looping:
Again, the high throw of the Demian made it my perfect rubber, though the Palio also played well.the increase in effort was not so noticeable, and I once again repeat to myself-this blade is more of an OFF- to All+ blade, and not a DEF.It will make a very good loopers blade,so if you looking for a fine piece of art for looping, then look no further.

Lobbing:
I'm not much of a lobber, but from what I tried, this blade is good enough to lob with.here the Palio took the show in terms of best performance.

My impression(s):

Firstly,I would like to thank Nexy President Mr Moon,Vice President Mr Lee and Nexy Korea for giving me this opportunity to test this fine piece of art. Without them,I would never have been able to experience what I had with this blade.

This blade fascinated me in a way no other blade has for the following reasons:
1)Each ply on this blade is not a single piece.some plies are formed from different pieces joint to create for e.g. the core.Even though this has been used,I have never felt a weakness in the blade in any of my shots.

2)The white ash side was made of 2 pieces of wood. however, when I ran my hand over the joint area,it felt absolutely fine, with no unevenness or splinters. Even when I removed the rubbers, they did not splinter at all.

The blade itself looks beautiful, especially the gem, which serves 2 function:
1)It identifies the fh side,and
2)It serves as a decoration for the blade, which not many companies care about(aesthethical pleasure)

I once again reiterate,if you are a looper/topspinner and is searching for a perfectly controlled blade for looping, then look no further.this blade can do it all,no matter the situation.just no hard sponged tacky rubbers please.
I believe with soft rubbers like T05fx or Rakza 7 soft, this blade will be your dream come true!

European-style Chinese rubbers. Very affordable glue effect rubbers easily available off ebay. Plays very well on the BH if you a wristy technique, also good for static blocks. Those who use a European technique on the FH will need to incorporate more wrist and probably a more closed racket to get the most out of this rubber on the FH. Shots also require decent effort, these rubbers work if you do. This rubbers strength I think is the performance to price ratio. Needless to say I don't think this will suit advanced players who are used to expensive European rubbers but for the intermediate player who cannot afford them these are suitable. Most effective at mid-distance from the table, still trying to adapt it to near table play.

My Coach in Korea used this one on a daily basis, so you can understand its durability, she gives lessons non-stop 10-12 hrs a day.

ZXi is a spin machine for loops that packs both a punch and control of where you put the ball if you pair it with the right rubber, like Sigma II Euro or a similar softish modern rubber. You got about everything you can ask for: Spin in bucket loads, control, good feel, no crazy earthquake vibrations, and a feeling that you are a Korean ace. Blade is medium feel, moderate vibration, and low to medium OFF range on powerloops. Blocks like crazy if you can take it off the bounce. Coach will block you off the table using this blade.

This blade IS an ALC blade, so you would think it would have TBS class speed and allround nice powerful offensive performance, right? Well, you got this blade all wrong. This blade is a spin machine for the player who wants control of spin and placement. Think of what you do when you wield a Stiga Allround Classic... You play a flexible offensive attacking game where you use spin and placement to setup points and you take control of a rally early, because you can park yourself at the table and counter anything and still land it with spin and placement.

This blade is not stiff and fast like you would expect of an ALC blade. Top end is in the ALL+ to low OFF- range. YES, this blade is that slow, but it wasn't advertised to be a speed rocket. This blade is for those who like to loop and spin the cover off the ball, or play the placement game until opponent is sick of blocking or countering.

I loved Donic Traction II on my backhand. It creates high amount of topspin, unpreditable arc., smashes are easy and you have the control. Very effective in close/mid distance, easy to loop/flick the ball close the net. Donic Traction II is in between soft and hard, it is medium. Manufactured by DHS for Donic, but this rubber have higher speed compared with DHS H3 Neo Nat. Blue. Playing over 1.5 month actively.

Worst thing is, its grippy surface -attribute of the rubber- loses its effect before than i've expected, probably around 1.5 month.

I've used two blades 82 and 83 gr. Viscaria apart from DHS Hurricane Long 3 and 5, Stiga Rosewood NTC VII and currently Stiga Clipper Wood WRB. If this blade would have larger sweet spot and a lot more feeling when hitting the ball, than this blade was born for me. I think for the people who are training a lot, who has stable shots, throw angles should use this blade. There is a reason why top Chinese players love this blade.

If you are still improving, wooden blade may sharpen your skills with the help of feeling.

weights about 90g because of its 8 layers of wood and 3 layers of carbon. The quality, the look and the feel is excelent. It plays super fast even with soft rubbers (T80FX - Airoc S), so control might be an issue, there's almost no vibration on the handle when hitting the ball hard. Great blade for attackers playing mid and away from the table, is hard to play close to the table (using the above mentioned rubbers)

edit: The blade doesn't stand damage to the sides too well, and the handle Tag sucks.
