Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro

My blade is 86g and 6.3mm. 7 Ply Limba/Ayous composition. This is my second favorite 7 Ply blade after my holy grail Nittaku Ludeak.

It’s speed is a solid Offensive - being faster than a DHS PG7 but slower than Ma Long 3 or Force Pro Black edition. I have this as well as the newer Black edition blade, but prefer this one. The Black edition is a little too stiff (6.7mm) for my game and is similar to a Stiga Clipper. The Blue edition offers more flex for looping while still being stiff enough for hits and blocks. Compared to Tibhar’s other great wood blade, the Stratus Power Wood (thick Limba 5 Ply), this blade is less head heavy, a few grams lighter on average and I feel a touch slower with better feel. Both are great and I enjoy both depending on my mood.

Overall, this is an excellent, balanced, do it all blade for a fair price and one of my favorites as a Limba/Ayous wood blade fan. Recommended.

I have tried both this and stiga clipper cr blades.I am using fl version.Personally i prefer this blade over clipper cr for 40+ plastic ball offensive looping game.Both are all wood blades but samsonov pro is slightly more bouncier and more powerful loop and drives can be executed off table.Dwell time is above average.Most of my opponents would think I am using carbon blade during rallies.However in table control is slightly lacking as compared to clipper cr. My current setup with stiga calibra tour h backhand and nittaku fastarc g1 forehand.Highly recommended for offensive players.

A 7 ply limba ayous special with good control. The handle is very comfortable - rumor has it that the handle design copies that of a blade that Samsonov really liked. The blade is not as fast as some thicker 7 ply blades, but it is definitely an offensive blade. The straight (ST) handle feels a bit thin which makes it head heavy with thicker, harder sponged rubbers and is not as nice as the flare handle, though I hear the ST handle is being improved in the Black Edition. I do use the ST handle with some grip tape because aspects of the handle suit my serve and backhand.
