Nittaku SHA 3 star 40+

This ball breaks easily. We can break this ball in just one game holy cow there goes my money. But fortunately it's cheap and when used in drills it's slightly durable. I still prefer the Nexy balls over this.

I find this ball breaks easily after only a few hours of play. I have also found that the ball is considerable slower compared to other poly balls but a bit harder too. As I was a big fan of the celluloid balls from Nitakku I was fairly disappointed.

I've only tried the China version so far, and it's definitely rounder and way more durable than the plastic balls I got a year ago. I play a very spin oriented game, and this ball just DOES NOT spin close to as much as celluloid balls do. Rallies do last longer, but I'm not able to produce as much spin as I normally play with.

For a plastic ball it's not bad. It is no way near a celluloid ball though. It arrives shorter than expected. It's hard to put spin on the ball. They are not as round as they should be. For a plastic ball, it is doable, because there are no good plastic balls yet.

In comparison to other plastic balls, this one is relatively slower and less spinier and extremely fragile and not durable. Three balls got cracked after 4 hrs of practice on the same day. Though the price might be reasonable, the ball is not worth whatever the price is. If you consider purchasing new Nittaku balls, the "new" new poly balls of Nittaku should be recommended.

I have tried many of the new plastic balls and find the Nittaku ones last longer than all the others. They are good quality, however not perfect just yet. But I hope soon they will be. They are good shape and feel slightly harder than the other plastic balls I have tried. Overall Nittaku seem to make the balls more round than other brands. Again it's not always perfectly round but most of them are.

These balls are certainly not the worst of the various plastic balls I've tried, however they are slightly disappointing in terms of durability and roundness in my opinion. After training with them for a week or so they rarely lasted without breaking, especially when you miss-timed the ball and struck the top of the blade they would break immediately. These balls do have a seam and play very differently to the seamless balls. Quite often these balls were certainly not up to the hardness you would expect for a 3* ball, the seam is hard but the rest of the outside of them tended to be quite soft.

Having said that the have a better flight and feeling than some of the other brands of plastic ball such as Joola. Overall these balls are not fantastic, but I believe the production of the plastic balls will only improve with time and the quality will get better as companies make improvements.
