It is pretty subjective.I am not chopper but I have tried dhs hurricane neo 3,sriver ,sriver fx, stiga magna, xiom omega iv and v ,bluefire m1&2 ,acuda s1and etc in the past 16 years. Chinese rubber is spinnier if you do heavy chop and serve receive provided you are used to its tacky topsheet. Otherwise good allround rubbers sriver/fx ,magna, mark v ,donic jan ove .Xiom omega iv and v or bluefire m1 are too bouncy for me in chopping. Some would recommend 2.1mm or thinner thickness for added control and feel.Good luck.

I have tried cornilleau pulse racer.it s medium sponge is quite controllable for all round play.its grippy surface is quite lasting as well.

From what you're saying it sounds like we have very similar styles.
I used to use Donic Sonex JP Gold and found it really good for pretty much everything from smashing to chopping.
Pretty insensitive to incoming spin so great for pushing and blocking but can engage the sponge well to produce enough spin to be good on serves too.
I am actually thinking about switching back.
Absolutely recommend
