So quite interesting thing happened recently. In chemistry here in China, students smell ammonia dissolved in water as an experiment and a test of the smell. We did that in a recent class, and I was chosen to smell the toxic gas representing the whole class! What an HONOR! So I am all scared at first, and then I smell it and it seems familiar. THEN it hits me, it’s the exact smell of TT glue!
Later I did some research, turns out they use ammonia in the glues to dissolve the rubber better. So good to know that even VOC free glue isn’t all safe.
PS: here is a picture of my recent screwed-up gluing!
