The recent withdrawal of Timo Boll, Michael Maze and Patrick Baum from the European Top 12 doesn't stop there. More sad news for the sporting table tennis fans across the globe as Timo Boll has announced his withdrawal from the Qatar Open World Tour 2012 which begins next week!

Timo Boll has announced that he has pulled out of the Qatar Open 2012 in order to prepare for the World Team Championships and the London 2012 Olympics. Timo Boll expressed, "before these events I have a program to stick to which means I have to cancel some tournaments".
