Old Stiga Ehrlich

Whent at it again today with the 802-1 shortpip rubber, now away from the table, trying to chop my heart out. To hard for me right now with short pips! But the ehrlich seemed real happy when I tried to chop with it. Could place the ball in the right directions, sadly to far, the balls whent off the table. Was real fun! I bet a LP does the chopping-game better. :)
Going back to the banda, my away from the table play this practice really jumped up a step. Much easier to land chops further away from the table.

Im getting this blade a LP. Will be fun!

Red Yinhe Neptune just glued on both sides.
Feels like bouncing with a cardboard box! :)
Will be fun to try!

This is one crazy combo.
Feels dead!
Sounds dead!
Yet, most of the balls seem to find their way over the net, wobbling in mid air like ive never seen. :D

Such FUN to chop with.
On servs: "Flat" drives > Spin.

Great for all kinds of practice! Both playing and playing against.

Todays "non TT practice" was a blast.
Used the Ehrlich as it weighs close to nothing = no strain on my inflamed muscles..
The Yinhe Neptune LP rubber with 1mm sponge is one crazy rubber. Once you "zone in" the force needed to play with it, it actually is a blast to play with! Im on meds. I take pills every 4 hours. I won 5 to 2 against my main sparring buddy. He had such a hard time with those flat wobbly balls that this rubber produce.. Suited me just fine playing more upright today. :)

Funny, this old thing is pretty kickass.. :D

You better be careful. One of those table tennis physicists who work for peanuts may come here and tell you that you can't make a wobble ball.

Did a ball-bounce-test this morning comparing the Ehrlich to my new(old) Banda JO Waldner. Boy oh boy is the Ehrlich softer... The Banda is so much harder it sound like comparing fingersnaps to footstomps...

Must find suitable rubbers for this old thing. It came with two old red Yasaka pips rubbers.. maby I should try to get some fresh ones from the same brand? :)

If you want true Yasaka, try out Extend P.O. a lot of elite women's amature players use this rubber on BH to great effect and control of attack.

If you want inverted chopping and attack mix, try Aurus soft or whatever soft version in max you like. AVOID hard sponged rubbers for that blade. Stick to mid soft or soft rubbers. FX-P will be surprisingly good on that one too if you can score an inexpensive sheet.

Nah, he had better be careful of Smith Glaxo Klein or whatever med Pharma his doc is trying to get him hooked on.

The Yinhe Neptune (~ 6 euro) is really nice for the price. Superthin sponge but nice wobbly action the hitting the ball flat. Choping is ok, could be better. If I get hooked down in the LP swamp ill sure have a look at the PO yasaka. Thanks!

Even bruised rib muscle is a bad injury to heal, takes a LONG time.

Consider getting a wrap that has far infared heat, that will give your muscles more blood flow and possibility to heal faster. Blankets that have FIH emitters are around 100 Euro or less.

Maybe you need strong meds for some kind of pain, but such a med is not gunna help you heal.

Only a new TT-blade will make me whole again. ;)

That is as good an answer as it gets. You have to admit, Der, he knows his healing sciences.

New blade on the cheap = happiness and healing vibes.
