Training Camp in China

Hey guys

Has anyone been to training camp in China? I will travel to Hong Kong in Dec and I am keen to take up some training in China, maybe shenzhen or cities close to HK for 2-3days. Any suggestions?

Good information! I should go there sometime when I go back. These place are so far away from Hongkong. And if you are planning to travel to mainland China, then get your visa ready, otherwise you won't be able to get into the country. You don't need visa if you are only going to HK. Hope you already knew this. It will take 2 hour and half to fly from Shanghai to Hongkong.

The good place to go is probably Guangzhou I guess. Or even you probably can find some places in HongKong. Still good standards through.

Someone else recommends this club too. I have a quick look at their website, they have the coach info. I'll give them a call tomorrow to find out more. This is quite a convenient location for me. I can go back to HK or stay in hotel nearby.

I wish I can train for 3 wks hahaha.

I may set up multiple private coaching sessions unless they have group training available which I prefer.

Have to decide on what area I want to improve and use the coach time efficiently.

Entry is 50 then table is 30/hour
Coach from 50to 300 / hour max
Depends whats ur level n what u want
All in rmb currency [emoji384]

Also, is it open for anyone to join there for training if paying? i mean if i am a beginner to intermediate level player for example, can i go there for training if i can afford it?

U need visa n money anyone can go its pay per hour session
Normally we play 3-4 hours n bang our skills

Ah i see, so it is just like a visit then go there and pay and start, i thought they don't accept anyone.

So, if in the future i decided to visit China and stay there for a while, which city or region i should choose for training? which is the best region or school or club or whatever you call it to train there? just for record.

Shenzhen for visitors even shanghai has clubs but they need referrals[emoji1317]

show this to the taxi driver , it is not far from the train station from HK. Good place to practise table tennis, I go there very often.

Yes shanghai u must have a friend to introduce as there r players not coach
N they help u push ur skills
Shenzhen is commercial coaches
Rest of china u have to take admission when ur 4 years old
Otherwise they not interested to teach u [emoji23]

I see, fair enough, so if i will decide/plan to go there one day then my only or best option is Shenzhen.
