Just play TT with the other hand OSPH :)

Yecats,

Think carefully about what you are saying here :)

Right-handed, my dominant side - i requested 9 points.

Left-handed, untrained, my complementary side - i will request 2 games and 9 points on the 3rd game in a 3 out of 5 :)

How about we both play left handed?

Then we can start at 0.

Problem solved and a fair match can commence! :)

Very cool ttmonster, thank you for sharing!

So this the wisdom I received from a highly rated coach ,

when you are inside the table , you should be using your wrist
when you are playing close the table, you should be using your forearm
when you are going back from the table , you should start engaging your upper arm the more you move away ...

anyways, its not always easy to practice and it also depends on the technique // rubber that you are using , but that is what I keep telling myself when I start swinging big , my point is shoulder pain helps you to figure out ways to engage your forearm and core ... which will in turn help you to shorten your technique ...

If we want to get that technical, why talk about rotating a joint? You should be rotating the bones that meet at the joint...

Rotation in a joint is rotation of the bone in the joint. Rotation of the joint would be the whole joint being rotated but that movement would have to be initiated from movement in a different joint. And, in a very real way, that is actually what OSPH is doing.

Just play TT with the other hand OSPH :)

Take the Mark Croitoroo approach! I agree. That would be 100% the safest way to keep playing. Not many people are that stubborn about wanting to continue playing this game. But there are some. [emoji2] And those that will definitely LOVE this game.

Congrats on reaching 1000 TTD "likes" OSPH, I think I have given at least 500 of them :)

*mind blown*

Thank you (for letting me know)!

psssst.... i'm not after the most likes, i'm after the one who gives the most likes... lol at me.

EDIT: Shuki should add another category to his Types of TTD membes ... the 'serial liker'

RE: Complementary Hand training

I will add that my MA instructor advocates learning Techniques with the Complementary Hand first and then training with the Dominant Hand.

I've never applied that to TT though... I don't mind hitting with my left, but I don't want to waste my Partner's Time given i will miss or hit haphazardly.

Aha! You don't apologize in a debate! So it really was an argument!

Forgive me for going back, but some of you guys missed that actual intention of a pretty funny joke. Shuki, this really made me laugh. And no it wasn't directed at anyone. It is just clowning around. [emoji2] Sometimes it is okay to say something ridiculous.

I object to this - I think you understate my role in ignoring certain assassinations of my character..... that said, I will give you nine points. Your problem is that you will also give me 9 so we are even.

I may have missed something. Was I the assassin? [emoji2]

Thank you Carl. *crosses fingers*

i'm scared now - lol at me

If it doesn't bother you in regular life it is likely not too big a deal. But better to proceed cautiously because something is going on.

It does, but it doesn't. I'm concerned. Will proceed with caution until next wk when we hook up.

Some forums at year end/start do a best of the forum - most informative technical thread/post; most funniest thread/post; etc.

TTD didn't do any?
We were relying on you to make that thread! Well, I guess since you messed up I don't have to handicap you 9 points :)
