I'd say that this is constructing a point in general and that it is really important to plan out at least the first two hits (including the serve).
I wouldn't really say that these are tips: this post simply tells you what options you can make and decide on.
Tips would suggest certain options that work great, like short reverse sidespin to the forehand and then a forehand to their backhand
