Help on BH Rubber

Hi, everyone i was wondering if you can help me. Im looking for a more controllable BH rubber for The Boll Spirit. I currently use T05fx in a 2.1mm which i do like but lack a little on blocking heavy spin so could do with a bit more Control. I was thinking of going down to a 1.9mm thickness but bit worried it may have a "mush" feel. If anyone could reccomend a alternative that offers more Control whilst maintaining good looping ability that would be great :)

You may try T80 and T64. You'ii get better blocking stability and less incoming spin sensitivity, but with less looping ability.
You have to choose what is more important. I would say that training and building more confident blocking with the current setup may be the better way.

I have played with spirit and used it with rakza x soft and that was way too soft. I thought Tenergy 05fx also i pretty soft? I do not think you should have anything softer if im correct about the hardness. I agree with Langel, that you also need to think about the technique. Try holding the racket more loose for more feeling and change the angle of the racket depening on the spin :)

If anything, 1.9 will feel less mushy than 2.1.

Thanks for the replies guys. So you wouldnt reccomend going with a Tenergy 05fx in a 1.9 but going down a Tenergy 80 route? If so should i go with a tenergy 80 1.9 or 2.1 or a Tenergy 80fx 1.9 or 2.1 thanks again :)

Many people use T64 on BH. The pimple structure of T64 allows the ball to sink in more therefore gives you more feel and control than T05. The arc is also lower therefore it's good for blocking.

To find which version would be better for you, first make a comparison between 05fx and 05 on your BH.
The problem in your main question is that you want both passive block improvement and active play capability intact.
The FX versions are better for passive play, the original versions are better for active play. So you have to analize what you should expect from the rubber and what you should gain from technique imrovement.
As Tenergy is statistically the easyest to find rubber on players bats, the best way is to test some clubmates bats.
