Indeed Sir Az :D It is breathing out too.
But I get the impression that it includes the use of sound therefore more muscle contraction and the air flow is not as good as breathing out thru the mouth.

Do you UNGGGH throughout the game Sir Az? :D

Nope Yosua, my version is HAAIIIIYYAAAAHH!!! HEHEHE Just kidding buddy. I do UNGGGH sometimes, especially when I am tired, or top spinning heavy underspins (under spins that comes back to me after I hit a spinny topspins to players like you who uses long pips!)..it's hard work buddy!! hahaha

I try to think as little as possible, but then i get confused :D

TTinsane, now that is really funny hahahahaaha...Yeah, Anders is quite right. It works for advance and pro players, even some intermediate players. But for lower level players, they have to think about their footwork, degree angle of their bats, how hard should they spin or push, placements, how to receive serves and on top of all these, they have to think about their tactics. Naturally, they will be nervous. hehehe

Persson is absolutely right when he said it, it may work for you Anders coz you're already at that level, but I think it'll be a little hard for lower ranking players. ;)
I would say, just go out there and enjoy the game, don't think so much about winning or losing. Go out and just play your game. Just play a point at a time, and take your time in between points and BREATHE!!:)

Usually, against better players, I'm not nervous. Against weaker players or same strength, I was a little nervous before.
Now, I'm not nervous anymore, except the other one plays really strange rubbers.
This reminds me of yesterday... I played a same ranked player, I was 2-0 down, he played defence and sometimes he could attack. I was like "damn..." Then I just told me, play your game, give the best, impose your game. So far so good... it went 10-9 for him and I was like "sh*t" but I managed to win and take the match 3-2 for me :D

Advice, you don't have to be nervous, play with constancy, the opponent will get nervous, he or she will make the mistakes for you. And impose your game as far as possible :)

Wow, you make me sound really really good comparing like that buddy! ;)

But if I loose matches, it's not because Im nervous.. It's more like: a) the player is better. b) Im getting mad because of bad play and can't control myself (rarely happened the last year) c) I just play bad. d) Too tired from previous sets and matches.

But Jörgens technique works for me. Since I know what I have to do, and if it doesn't work, I'll have to face the fact that the other player is able to beat me. It has to happen, you know :p
