i think I would not as in general i don't really like their brand and to me it don't fit with TT. Also i have a hard time imagining them having teams knowing what they talk about on TT. Maybe they can outsource the process but then where is the added value compared to pure TT brand ?

Yes.

P7 was a great rubber, to my impression. It was discontinued just about when I returned to the game, so I have played against players using their last sheet and have hit a fee balls with it. No extensive experience, but what I've seen is positive.

It created high spin levels, offering not so much insane speed levels as much as good feeling and many gears.

So I held a favorable view and would have liked to try it for a while, when recovering my gameplay.

I did consider it a bit excessively priced, though. As I recall it was as expensive, if not more so, than Tenergy, which to me means it’s not something done frivolously.

Insider tease?

Not interested in the P7, but if they decide to resurrect the Blaze Spin and Tenzone series, I'd buy it.

Itc rubbers are made by daiki japan so they are not near the characteristics of P7.
Just to clarify, i am not saying the brand will come back but what if an identical rubber comes out.

Just to let you know, P7 transitioned to the polyball and many people still love playing with it. It was not just the speed and spin of the rubber that made it a best seller but also its good feel and control.

I played with P7 and Tenzone Ultra when I picked up TT again 5 years ago. Great products. But wouldn't you say Gewo nanoFLEX 48 and/or Andro Hexer Powergrip are close analogs? And what about the new ITC rubbers, didn't they pick up Adidas products?

These days, I am using Hurricane 3 rubbers though in my FH.

Pat, itc picked up the staff and products but never the rubber design. I still have not seen a rubber with exact specs as P7.

Pat, itc picked up the staff and lrofucts but never the rubber design. I still have not seen a rubber with exact specs as P7.

And, in lieu of Pat's question, Nanoflex FT48 and Hexer PG apparently don't have the exact P7 specs — but are they "close analogs", of not exact matches? (And is "irofuct" a misspelling for "product"?)

I'd like to know, since (as stated) I was highly impressed with P7 a handful of years ago, and have played extensively with Nanoflex FT48 since and still hold that particular rubber in very high esteem. I'd even go so far as to nominate it as the most underrated rubber I know of.

I have not tried the Gewo rubbers mentioned. I was just wondering what if a company will reproduce the rubber again with the exact specs before and then sell it to me their own brand if it is still a viable idea.
