I stumbled upon these videos. I think they explain the chinese footwork VERY well, and also shows how you can train your footwork

These were shot in a training camp in Denmark

The coach and the 2 chinese players are from a club in Sweden i believe

I think they were coaching the players But i guess the coaches listened aswell

But i've always thought that the footwork for a defender is very different! Am i wrong?

An attacker's footwork somehow also applies to defenders (to quite some degree!) but yes I can say that both are different.
