Anyone playing with this rubber?
Been wanting to try it out and it´s currently on sale.
I really like H3 but i´m against boosting. Maybe this is a good alternative?

Been playing Rakza Z for a while now
I have had the pleasure of experimenting with this rubber previously.

It is as hard as rock and if you don't boost it is almost unplayable even after boosting.

If you are coming from Rakza family & if playing as a hobbyist and not intending to boost, I would say don't torture yourself.

Leave this monster to the PRO. I bought this just to know what it is like to play like Ma Long. I put this rock hard rubber on DHS Long V just to mimic / experience what it is like to play like Ma Long's set up.

Did you play with other hard rubber before testing the nittaku blue h3 ?

I have a sheet of Nittaku H3, its very marginally faster than DHS H3. I think its nothing like Rakza Z.

Below are my experience with tacky chinese rubber, all played with boosting:
i. H3 ( commercial )
ii. NeoH3 ( Commercial + Provincial + National + various degree of hardness )
iii. 729 Battle 2 ( Commercial + Provincial + various degree of harness )
iv. H2 provincial mid hard
v. neoH2 commercial mid hard
vi. Skyline 2 provincial mid hard
vii. Skyline neo3 commercial mid hard
vii. H3-50

I have stopped using chinese rubber after my coach advised they are not suitable for me. I have now settled for Donic ( ESN ) rubber & is a happy happy boy.

I've also used 39-41 h3, b2 etc, just wondering if nittaku felt harder than those, since you compared it to a brick?

yes, the blue turbo one

I’ve played the 1.8mm Turbo blue.

The topsheet is of much higher quality than DHS provincial H3. It’s tacky and very grippy.

The sponge is very, very hard. I had to boost it with 4 layers of Seamoon oil.

After the boosting, wow it feels like TG2.

I played both Turbo Blue (TB) and DHS National Blue sponge H3. Both are boosted.

TB gives you more control in short game. It allows you swing hard with confidence. I love it so much that I bought another two sheets.

Warning, if you have played TG2, it means you must commit a proper swing in every stroke, or TB will hit the net.

I have two sheets of the Turbo blue - it looks to be great quality and the top sheet is lovely - but 61g cut to size is pretty damn heavy! So much so I can't bring myself to try it...

Turbo Blue is noticeably factory boosted. It’s a great rubber to use and a fun one. However it will need to be reboosted in a couple months time.

h8 will not need boosting, but is rather slow. Maybe the hard version plays faster. but will play the best if boosted.

I’m using H8 mid hard with one layer of Seamoon, and it’s not a slow rubber at all (even on an Acoustic all wood blade)

The reason why I tried Turbo blue is because the recent batches of National H3 has poor quality topsheet. Confirmed by sellers. They tweaked the formula so that National H3 topsheet is less tacky but more susceptible to skidding and less durable.

I am very happy with Turbo blue and my Provincial TG2 blue sponge.

That’s interesting - the 60g weight isn’t an issue for you?

I think you said you boost it too - correct?

Yup, I boosted it. It’s way heavier than my boosted National H3. But control is way better. And TBH, it produces more spin and top speed.

Lucky my D64 on Bh isn’t heavy.
