But - Ariel just won junior girls in the Brasilian open!
Great play, winning 4:2, in sixth she was 10:7 down, maybe 10:6, not sure..
Anyways, she won it 12:10, well done!

I'm just hoping that she becomes more forehand oriented in the future. After all it should be the penholders' strength. After watching some of her match videos I can say that she hit very few forehands, even hitting backhands from the forehand side of the table.

Oh, and almost only backhand serves :S

Tin Tin is only 13 I think, she still has time to improve everything- serves, forehand etc.
She is a huge prospect and lets hope the ETTA dont do anything stupid with her...

Have to agree with you there SC. The girl needs exposure. If I were ETTA, I would send her out as much as I can and also intensive training. CNTTC would be an option. I mean, why not?

Sending her to china for a month or so wouldn't be that bad for we- she speaks fluent chinese I believe even going somewhere like Romania or something...or trying her luck In England...but her serves need a lot of work as does her forehand, but she's only 13, I'm sure it will come
