Which is perfectly fine with me
But can he take on these two guys ?

Or maybe they can go on a global exhibition tour together like Secretin & Purkart with Harlem Globe Trotters like Marty
Enzo Angles' highest ITTF ranking was 77... unfair comparison.

In this section of the forum , "general discussions on Table tennis" everybody and anybody can post anything. Therefore, this section can even be used to simply admit some nasty low blows.
Sad really. 😥

Adam does what he does for content. He runs a successful YT channel and that generate ka-ching. If what James propose can generate ka-ching, I am sure the business side of Adam will not deny it. Win or lose for Adam is secondary or even tertiary if I may add. Adam is the greatest TT show-man after all.

Adam Bobrow is an entertainer, and belongs to that youtubers generation. As a musician I see countless of so-so musicians channels everyday that work well, that engage their audience because they do creative stuff. We all know that if Adam entered a WTT Feeder, he would not last long, and he’s’perfectly aware of that, even at the US Open he plays like in his youtube channels.

Also, why is he doing so much stuff like that ? he’s endorsed by a major brand, Andro, so he has to justify that endorsement by either:
- being a successfull pro, yeah not the case
- producing successful contents, job done !

Maybe Andro pays some fees like hotels and planes, also as he works for the WTT he’s got a contract, he’s paid, some of his expenses are covered I think, he’s the kind of WTT’s MC or ME: Master Entertainer. As he’s a native english speaker, he’s the perfect guy, also it should be remembered that he’s been an actor in tv shows and movies, he’s got a voice, acting skills, improvisation skills, and knows what it is to obey an organization according to a contract.

The real pros like Simon Gauzy, the Harimoto family or Lin Gaoyuan are aware of all that, they play the game, that’s fine to me, and that’s fun. Also Adam is the link between the pro world and the amateur world cos’ he either does street TT stuff or TT gym games with pros.

Also, about working in arts: some people thinks it’s not a « job », but a passion. And in this world it can be pejorative.

I’ve been working in arts, as a pro musician, music teacher, tech for arenas and festivals. You sign a contract, there are rules, labor laws, and it’s even more restrictive in the US: if you’re not registered in an art labor union, you simply cannot work in arts ! the union‘s registration depends on your graduation first, your achievements in arts. It’s a full time job to be an art labor, an actor like Adam Bobrow is: perfecting/warming up your skills as any musician would do everyday, reading scripts, rehearsing, prospection to get to auditions, etc.

Example of what is an art union https://uniontrack.com/blog/artists-unions

Chair position for EQC ITTF was recently redirected to a female person well educated in structural materials science. She is about to deploy friction tests on pimps-out for local leagues as well as for international sports, in response to the evergrowing number of frauds with treated pips, the ubiquitous fraudulence we always deprecated in loud voice.

I am kind of starting to actually enjoy your nonsense & your willingness to go to extreme lengths to makea total fool of yourself in your sad attempts to dish out some hate
Some have to try, to others it seems to come spontaneously and naturally 🤣

Ha Ha funny good one.

So how do you test for real boosters then ? With fake tests ?

And when did ITTF say the fake boosters are legal ?
I do not see Rule 2.4.7 removed from the books
You can just look into the dressing room before playing. Don't even need a test for it.

Having the two different colour rubbers removes the element of deception that could be achieved. It has nothing to do with the quality (or qualities) of the shot actually played. The disadvantage to the player playing the shot is simply that the opponent now has a better ability to read the shot that is in the process of being played by their opponent.

So this two colour rule only disadvantages the chopper in the sense that the chopper was never really relying solely on the quality of their actual shot; they were relying on the quality of their shot combined with the ability to mask what rubber was being used to make it (and therefore what effect that particular rubber would have on the ball). The two colour rule took away this element of deception, meaning that the only thing they now had left to rely on was the quality of the shot they actually played.

I was thinking this might be the case.
How unfair these choppers all have to play actually good table tennis shots instead of tricking the opponent.
This is simply awfully unfair.
