It blows my mind how the tiny sound made by the iranian at 1:10 can bother him so much.
yet all the stomps while they serve.......all the moans (for example the point starting at 3:47) -----> that's perfectly fine, I cannot even hear that, I'm moan and stomp deaf

also he asks for the supervisor like he was at mc Donalds and they gave him a cold burger :ROFLMAO:
So true!

I also would like to know if there is a rule that prohibits shouting during a rally.
In Tennis of course they shout and scream often grunt for every shot.

Another interesting question might be answered by the "all rule-wise people" here :
Can we return a ball on to the opponents side "via the floor" ??

I think there is a rule? But does it really matter? They don't even reinforce service rule anyway.

Lind was just being a crying baby.....

"3.5.2.1 Players and coaches or other advisers shall refrain from behaviour that may unfairly affect an opponent, offend spectators or bring the sport into disrepute, such as abusive language, deliberately breaking the ball or hitting
it out of the playing area, kicking the table or surrounds and disrespect of match officials."
In short: it's debatable if that behavior "unfairly" affected that opponent.

One thing is sure, pretty much any rule, once written down, is open to interpretations.
Ergo: 1 player = 1 interpretation
2 players = 2 interpretations
3 players = ...........etc etc etc .
The Iranian player had to completely physically exert himself to get that ball back on the table, heck ! he had to just about throw himself on the ground.
The last thing in his mind would have been to be unfair to his opponent.
The way I see it : No blame.

Little add on: Let's face it the Danish player never expected the ball to come back on the table and this is why he got pissed off. We should never give up until the the point is called.

Not a fan of Lind, but the umpire could of performed better.

There are so many "sportmanships" behavior out there, and making a "screaming accident" would normally follow with a sorry for "interrupting".
I have not seen a point called for, for this kind of "interrupting" before, not even in non ITTF tournaments.
Because accident to happen and normally will follow by an apology to your opponent.

So, what we can learn.
1) The umpires decide when you should stop play, until then, continue your play and raise your hand to call a Let. Let the umpire decide if they will call Let or not, and then you can start talking. Then that means, that "ball" can be replayed and no point awarded.

2) If both players decide to replay the point, the umpires should really just allow it. For the sake of sportsmanship
the umpire is confused as the digital scorecard was pressed for Lind and then changed to Noshad. They should learn to cope better and focus based on sportmanships and not just a silly handbook that isn't too clear on certain matters.

3) if the point is awarded (like in this case) to Noshad, and he agreed to reply the point, based on sportsmanship, a player would normally just net the next ball and give the point to the opponent. So then both points are "given", and even, so the game can get back to normal

4) Lind will need better mental coaching and learn how to cope with this kind of situations. Since you can't always get a umpire that is "good". In fact, rather train to get the worse umpire, and anything better than worse, is a bonus. Obviously Lind handled the points after this incident very terribly

screams? It looks like an ultimate attempt by Noshad to get to the ball. He squeezes the last air from his lungs to play the ball on the table in a sublime way with an effort of strength.
As far as I know there is no rule that would prohibit moaning at such an attempt.
Anders Lind should have pointed out to the referee that his opponent keeps making the playing field smaller because he often serves above the table and serves beyond his service line.

No, I don't think it's moaning, he actually screamed/"cho"ed to celebrate because he thought the ball would go off the table after touching the net. It could cause a lapse of concentration even just for a fraction of second, it could make a difference. It's surely an accident but Lind had a point there.
Imagine if the opponent is allowed to make any kind noise/scream while playing when the point is not over, it will affect your concentration. Yes, Noshad's scream is not loud, but what if it is louder? How loud is allowed? which noise is allowed? Can a player talk when the point is not over? Would you say it doesn't affect the other player if a player talks softly enough?

Seriously go f.ck yourself, you know nothing about sportmanship and fairness, the double case with Wang Chuquin and FZD has been discussed already: WCQ hide the 9-7 at 2 games all serve on purpose, and FZD shouts exactly when he toss the ball on purpose. It's pure hatred they have against Alexis Lebrun since he has beaten down FZD. They can't beat the bros. 3-0, they know it so they play dirty. Handbook or rules does not mean anything when everyone is under China's orders, officials, referees and umpires included.

Seriously don't show your face in Paris Expo hall 4 next year dude...
I just said my own opinion. In my opinion, this type of behavior during a match is entitled attitude and poor sportsmanship. You can disagree if you like. Many people will agree with me, and many may agree with you.

Ok, so what are you going to do if I show my face in Paris Expo?

this is what I see too.

Noshad assume the point is over, hence he even said, it was an accident.
He won't say that if it was a natural moaning when hitting the ball.

good for you,

there are still a lot of old people who cry non stop and start swearing when things don't go there way
That's wrong, though. Because it's an official competition with cameras and kids watching the show. What if the Iranian player stopped to do any noise and started complaining at every single noise made with foot, mouth or whatever by the Danish player, just because "this is the rule, this is the rule". If the Danish player is disturbed so much by such a low noise of the opponent he can play only in his basement with the robot, a good and silent one.
