Yes. WCQ really found and exploited FZD weakness. It'll not be easy for FZD to get the gold medal in Paris 2024.
Personally I am rooted for FZD. I don't like WCQ's style, but damn, the dude is so fast and his shots is so powerful.

so tournament starts on 2nd,
on the 3rd, a players pulls out injured
and a replacement is made "half way through a tournament"

WTT does amaze me.
Why back to back (2nd is the last day of Asian Game, 2nd is the start date of a WTT)
It is normally good to have 3 to 4 days rest days.
And this is why players are turning up injured this year. too many back to backs

and if he was there as a practice partner, does practice partners on site becomes WTT's backup plan?

WCQ is going to be a serious problem for everybody the next several years. Not only does he have a complete game on both wings, he is left-handed which introduces even more issues.
