Kallberg is interesting - she must have radically improved and still be radically improving because there is no galaxy in which even in February or maybe March, someone who can beat Diaz should lose to Kallberg.

Not friendly to the fans who keep tabs on both events happening on both sides of the planet. WTT needs to consider the quality of life here. Yes, more points are distributed among the players this way, but top players who have opted to compete in Rio and then required to be in Chongqing next week will have a hell of a time dealing with the jet lag.

But we (and they) know it was a choice. They could have actually gone to Taiyuan, but they weighed other things as well.

Well, apparently WTT didn't think it that way, otherwise they wouldn't have had to change the date of Chongqing. Those who will be required to be in Chongqing next week had to pick Taiyuan. And now due to a lack of players, the qualification stage for Taiyuan was slashed by 1 day.

Taiyuan should've been made a SCT to offer more incentives but now Rio feels more like one.

It's very clear by now that, in this cycle, Hirano's true form only comes out when her back is against the ropes. Her target is Ito. Her other teammates are on the back burner. Her ~57% win rate against China in 2022 and 2023 isn't just for show.
