I received my acB blade today. The quality control is a joke. The lower wings of the head are not symmetrical. The core veneer has a crack (no idea how deep it goes). Luckily I can return it.

A lot of people have reported bad QC for recent DHS blades, even W968. The joke is that the ones with bad QC are usually authentic.

My Hurricane King WCQ was perfect. Top quality, seems there are good ones out there as well. It really play crisper and a bit faster then HL5 (around the same weight and thickness). It's also a tad head heavier than HL5 with the same rubbers.

The commercial DHS King WCQ has a very poor QC, rough edges and different thickness.

If you are referring to the commercial Hurricane King, then NO.

If you are referring to the Q968 then YES and if you have the money.

Btw, WQ acB has the exact same composition as Yinhe 970xxA, is there an actual difference or are we paying for the name? In my experience, these Yinhe blades have better quality control than Wang Chuqin blades.

I would most likely be getting a relative of mine to buy the blade for me over seas from Vietnam. Would it be okay if they video call me and I am able to inspect the edges, handle and for any dents, etc? I am keen to try the blade out, or is it not worth the risk?

yes - it’s even better if you use iPhone Pro Max 15 to video call.
make sure you use the phone with phone case and screen protector.

Hard to tell just by looking at the box and blade wrapping. Pictures of the Rubbers and holographic authorization code could help on determine if the blade is genuine or not.

It is difficult to tell if the blade indeed is the WQ acB blade. If you notice the lens is a generic DHS one which is telling us that it is a custom blade.

Every pro’s blade is customised but it can’t be that different or else he’d use his own w968

Well that is a matter of your opinion. I was just pointing out that it is not a commercial WQ acB as you stated.

I believe it was obvious that it wasn’t a commercial version since nobody uses commercial version in the CNT
