Does anyone try K3 pro?

I just got this sheet of K3 pro today.
There is no so much information now but I heard it’s 55 degrees while normal k3 is 53 degrees.
The top sheet I really don’t know whether it’s same or not as I have never use normal k3 before but one of my friends who played with k3 before he said it is different.

Anyhow , once I have time to update I will let you know.

I feel like this ‘pro’ version is just an updated quality control of Tibhars behalf, not a new rubber.

Previously the regular K3 probably deviated between ~51-55 degrees in hardness (a rough guess). And now the ones that measure 51-53 go in a regular K3 package, and the 54-55 get a pro label.

I don’t know that what Im stating here is true, but since they havent updated the package or topsheet for this ‘pro’ version it would make sense.

I really don’t know on this but I checked with normal k3 code on google and it’s same code.
Anyhow, I can’t tell you now and time will tell.

Have you guy ever try tg05 and tg05hard?
I once tried long ago and found the durability is much better on 05hard.

Also my teammate bought a few sheets of dg05 from Japan 2 months ago. And to my surprise, the edge of dg05 cracked all around which never happened to me in the earlier time when I used.

Not really. Several manufacturers are bringing out new rubbers under the old number with different top and also sponges.

That doesn't sound right, you can't have two rubbers with different topsheets under the same LARC number, you could have the same topsheet under different LARC numbers though.

of course it does not sound right but still it is being done often. Just because a manufacturer uses the same molds to make a rubber does not mean the rubber will have the same qualities. Lots of rubbers sold today under the same number and the same name have nothing in common with the rubber sold 2-3 years ago.

Loki Rxton 5 came out as a great and very sticky rubber - now it has turned into a non sticky rubber.

Sure a rubber formula can change especially when it is being re-approved. This is different from the same rubber having multiple versions at the same exact time, even if there are some similar consequences of both.

Once approved by the ITTF the rubber is valid for 10 years.

Back to my example with Loki Rxton 5 and i can assure you that this rubber has neither been on the market that long nor has Loki even existed that long.
However the rubber has undergone several stages of change - the number however remained the same.

Exactly and for example Commercial H3 has the same number as NEO 24- 108

I don't know anything about K3 (didn't use it) but for me pro players still use Booster and K3 Pro can be just K3 without booster. Tibhar Hybrid MK Pro plays like rubber without booster and the topsheet is harder than MXD but still soft as possible

I have been testing K3 pro from Monday to Wednesday and about two hours per day.
I put it on Tibhar Library ZAC (85g)
Put aside about the durability matter as is still too early to say, but in my opinion, I like it a lot so much spin ,speed, powerful and easy to control. I can’t compare with dg09c but I think K3 pro has lower trajectory.
The reason why I say so, because my teammate, who use TMXi pro used to put 09c on fh and he didn’t like it because of high throw. It is very difficult for him to block so now he changes to dg05.
When he tries my blade he likes it a lot he said it’s really easy to use and easier to block.

By the way, I also test battle 3 , 40° on another blade Tibhar Cedric and find it can play without ant booster.
I’m not a fan of sticky Chinese rubber but I used bloom power before and it’s very good when boosted and when the booster wears off , it’s very decent rubber.
I don’t like to boost so often so I try battle 3 and it’s much batter in many ways without booster. So if we boost, it will be much more better.

With the harder sponge, is K3 Pro basically the same as Stiga Dragon Grip?

How is the rebound and throw angle of the Battle 3 compared to Bloom Power? How is it different from Bloom Power?

K3 pro uses the same packaging of normal K3 but with sticker “Pro” on it.

I also put BP on my back up Cedric for 1 month and find that it has no power , no speed , no catapult effect and less spin.

While B3 (40degree), I intentionally play as it is without any boosted on my back up Cedric and everything is different. B3 is spinner, more power , easy to block , fast and feel softer because of the top sheet is softer than BP. The sponge is better than BP.
I have 3 sheets of BP and I will never go back to BP.

How is the throw angle of B3?

I have B2, but the throw angle is a bit low and uncomfortable.
