Hi,

I was looking for a punchy backhand rubber and J&H X50 has been a perfect find.
I wanted the 47.5 version but India had only 50 type available then.
It is consistent in blocking with good control. Pushes are accurate and backhand open-ups on top spin are also very safe.
Where it absolutely excels is when you want to kill a topspin with a punch/jab and when it is a topspin duel.
I’m a backhand dominant player so I think it suits me.
I’m using a Xiom Ignito blade.
Xiom J&H series can be confusing and that is why the X version hasn’t quite caught on.
Good option for backhand blockers.

I think V is best for controlled punch, block, flat hit type of game.
First topspin is okay, but second lacks power and spin.
Not sure about X.

I'Ve tried too many rubbers that were like that. V has the same problem, the topsheet is harder or muddier than the sponge and it doesn't let you generate more power. I tried V47.5 but maybe the V52.5 is different.

Anyone has tried the J&H X or V to be able provide a review and comparison vs Xiom Omega VII Pro? I'm interested to find out especially for BH rubber.
V47.5 and X47.5 feel harder than Omega 7 Pro. Kinda like Rasanter R48 where they feel 45 degrees. I don't recommend the V series at all. But the X47.5 and O7Pro are great on backhand. Just mind the weight as they both are heavy.

I the contrary, I recommend the series V .
