I don't have a new sheetOic, do you mind sharing the uncut weight as well? Thanks
What blade do you use?after all my complains , if you put 5 layers of glue and 2 layers of booster and you add big size layer of glue on blade you will get better sound which is not like cardboard, and it is really easier to penetrate the rubber. I had chance to make a mini test with DHS Provincial H3 Neo 39 sponge and I can say they are pretty similar. H3 is slower and softer and has better feeling with better throw but B3 is better as a wall and has better price on aliexpress
What is the weight of Loki Telson rubber ? Is it more bouncy or less bouncy than Tibhar MXP rubber ?Loki Telson Has better quality than MXP/ Tenergy
But yeah B3 looks like old tractor tyres melted to get semi sticky rubber, no lies
I have thin watery glue IT means that 6 layers are still less compared to 3-4 layers if I use free chack. What blade do you use?
The rubber must be damn heavy with so much glue.
it seems it likes flexier blades. It's fun to play with DHS Fang Bo B2I have thin watery glue IT means that 6 layers are still less compared to 3-4 layers if I use free chack.
I used a lot of blades. Battle 3 loves my Timo Boll Spirit. Hates my Harimoto zlc. Hates my Mizutani super zlc. Hates my An Jaehyun Tmxi pro. Didnt like Revoldia low gears. The biggest hate from Battle 3 I saw with my favorite Darker Avantir. They hate each other. Didnt like my Mizuno Fortius. Right now I put Battle 3 with 5 layers on my Sk7 which is the most grippy blade from my collection and this is great marriage. Thick, hard, stiff, grippy 7 ply + a lot of glue. I destroyed one rubber because the hold from SK7 is really deep and I really had problems to take off rubbers, that's why I called marriage. Last dance from B3. That's why I put a lot of layers and booster.
I use Mantra Pro H on backhand and it is great choice too
My SK7 is easy to use because it is slow. I have fancy blades but I found this blade gives me confidence to use my all tricks.
I didnt try to weight but this is not nittaku hurricane pro. I glued another telson on my 86 g Innerforce alc S and another v22 2,0 and I feel the balance it means its not very heavy. What is the weight of Loki Telson rubber ? Is it more bouncy or less bouncy than Tibhar MXP rubber ?
Thank you sir.
Best regards,
Battle 3's smell is nowhere near the dead fish smell of Battle Taichi. I had to spray some Old Spice deodorant to itI got Battle 3 for test. 38 for BH and 41 for FH. Just glued on Yinhe 05 after little boost. Smells like fish or chinese tea, but looks very similar to H3, may be little more sticky.
Wow, I'm glad that you found rubbers that suit your blade. As for me, I find it difficult to find a rubber that pairs well with Blue ALC. The rubbers I liked on this blade:I'm playing the 729 Blue Alc with Battle 3 40 forehand and Battle 3 39 backhand. My control and strenght I can put on the ball increased tremendously. I put 2 glue layer on the rubber and 2 glue layer on the blade, I would say I can feel the ball quite good on the blade. I boosted the rubber with 2 layers of seamoon. So far the best rubbers I tested for the 729 Blue Alc.
Tested rubbers were:
- DHS Goldarc 8 50 on forehand
- Loki Rxton 3 blue 40 backhand
- Loki Arthur China 40 backhand
For some reason, I expected you to look more like the anime girl in your profile picture 😆So I glued my circa 1 year old sheet ot the Stiga Inspira Plus after applying a layer of regular Seamoon on it. The rubber has some oxidation and glue marks on it but it's still very grippy and elastic so I don't give 2 craps. For summer break it's fine.
I glued it on the Stiga Wang Manyu blade since it was cut for regular blade not Cybershape.
Boy was I glad I glued it on that blade. It feels like the perfect combo. B3 was already very good with the Cybershape but with the Stiga Wang Manyu blade... even better. The Stiga blade was more catapult somehow and feels less carbony while being faster than blades that are more carbony. How is that possible? Not sure but that blade holds the ball a lot and catapults a lot while being relatively had and stiff.
On BH I was using normal Glayzer, since I like the sperrior grip it has over any other rubber except for Dignics.
Also Glayzer is very light so works well for me.
The total blade weight it 191g which is perfect for me.
Both rubber performed great with great ball holding potential and great speed and spin but I like the grip of both rubbers the most.
I made a video of a match I played it's nothing special but it's against a blocker (he uses Yinhe T11+ with Big Dipper as black on BH and Moon 12 H- on FH). Super blocking oriented blade, super insensitive and pretty fast so suits his game (especially against me, the blade was made specially to be good against me)
Please bear in mind I used Cybershape Carbon for 8 months prior and I'm using this blade for the first time since then. I think I did pretty well actually, it felt very good. (gave him advantage, first set 5, then 4 then 5 then 6 points. We start from 5 points advantage and if I win he gets one more if I loses he gets one less)
Great play from both players, as soon as he get in his comfort blocking position is pretty hard to break through. You got more strenght on forehand and backhand.
