Yup, her best result was that victory against Chen Meng (something that Hirano, Ito, and Miwa haven't done). I also bashed her for that horrible performance in the Olympic finals that cost Japan the match. I mean, you could also say that Hirano *only* beat WYD and CXT in both team finals. The stats can tell you whatever story you want as long as you beat it hard enough.
Has Hayata beaten CM in WS or CXT in WT? Why place WS above WT and vice versa when the same argument is not put forth for Hirano? I'm saying this for the 3rd time now. Both Hayata and Hirano have faults but folks keep choosing to forget the ones for Hayata.

At the end of the day, WT gets the team 6 medals (1 for mascot White Hair) whereas WS gets the player 1 medal. LGL has also said that beating CNT in WT was the 2nd hardest.

History in the making...it is no longer fluke.
First the KOR, now the CNT.

I don’t think 729 Friendship Seamless balls will be used in future tournaments 😂

You're getting ahead of yourself here. I was going to write about it at the end of the event.

I wrote that Hayata needed to achieve something that is unique/exclusive to her. She has yet to do so. OTOH, Hirano along with Harimoto have just achieved something that was last done half a century ago. Let that sink in. It's only natural for Harimoto to be touted by Tieba users as the No. 1 foreign player now, displacing Hayata. Hirano has also reinforced her status as the No. 1 foreign player in WS and WT results, as rated by Tieba users.

Even worse, you can't lose if you don't play. SYS is being bombarded for withdrawing from WS and WD and Hayata's withdrawal from WS is being used to add fuel to the fire. Once again, a typical scenario of 一白遮三醜.
As driversbeat already pointed out, Hayata does have something exclusive to her even if you wish to diminish it. That's okay, folks will remember her having to save 9 match points against a core CNT player she had never beaten before to secure the bronze at a World Championship.

Unfortunately, Hirano could not use her status as "the No. 1 foreign player in WS and WT results, as rated by Tieba users" to scare off Lee Eunhye. Miwa's wins especially over SYS coming down from 0-2 to beat SYS and be the savior of the JNT needs to be put in a class of its own. It was great that Hirano beat CXT, who had to play after not too long after she had just landed, but what Miwa did was special. Now Hirano is a great player no doubt, but there's nothing wrong with an honest assessment of where she's at right now. It's not awful to lose to Lee Eunhye per se. She actually is a very good player, possibly S. Korea's 3rd or 4th best player. However, Hirano is a seasoned pro and a top tier JNT member. Losing early in singles at a Continental championship with a number of top level CNT players missing is a missed opportunity for valuable ranking points as well as possible medal. In this LA 2028 cycle, Hirano is going to be fighting for the 3rd spot. So in addition to doing well in singles, what would be helpful for her is to find some possible doubles pairings that she could be successful at. This is something that Kihara (2024 Empress Cup WD and XD champion and currently doing well with Miwa) and Odo (highly ranked in WD with Yokoi and a good start in XD) are doing. This is something Nagasaki (2024 Empress Cup WD champion and pairing well w/ Tanaka in XD) is doing to fight for the 3rd spot as well.

Great back and forth battle between Mima and Satsuki, but it was Mima's experience in the end that prevailed.
Ito still showing impatience when struggling in a match that she 'should win'. Nearly blew her best shot at an ATTC medal there.

Anyone knows where we can watch live/replays of CNT matches?

Who would've thought that there would be more KNT players than CNT and JNT in the WS quarterfinals. Lee Eunhye also performed the best in WT event, won 2 out of 2 matches but was strangely benched against PRK.

Winner of Miwa X CXT will most likely go straight to finals. Kim Kum Yong the favourite to win her half but I think Shin might give her some trouble.
