Tonight I tested Telson 100 47,5º on my Yinhe Pro 05, on the BH.

Arc on short strokes is lower than Rxton 7. This made me do some net errors from time to time, trying to slap the ball, or when looping slowly returning serves. On that aspects, I prefer Rxton 7.

His greatest quality is it's ability to play from mid and long range. I made insane rallies in total confidence.

I could not really test for blocks, because my opponent was smothered by my play, and could almost never attack.

Its a pity that the only player than can beat me in my club are never there to play, I can't test my equipment and myself in difficult conditions...

I still have some rubbers to test (Mantra Pro M, GoldArc 8, Codexx) but I think that Rxton 7 or Telson 100 will be my BH weapon of choice.
For sure Telson 100 feels like a low arc rubber, i transitioned from Tenergy 64 so i had already adapted my technique but if coming from H3 37 for example i can feel de difference in arc quite clearly

2nd session with Telson 100, and same conclusion. It's incredible at mid distance, but the arc and the bounce are too low for BH punches on not-very-lively-opponent-balls. I think Rxton 7 suits my play style and technique better, because I play close to the table. But Telson is very very nice to play with and very fast.

Maybe boosting it would improve its flaws, but it would make it probably too fast.

Any news on the Teslon 100zz ? It's not on Telson catalogue yet, or even on their website. It was supposed to be available after the normal T100, and since T100 has been available for just a few weeks, I guess we won't see anything coming before 2025.

Have been really enjoying some of the powerful shots that Rxton 3 Blue can make. But the topsheet reacts very poorly to high humidity. I have a sheet with a couple months of play that still feels nice and grippy when I'm in my fully air conditioned apartment, but was slick and had trouble grabbing the ball at the local humid club.

Another bizarre thing. When I first got a sheet of Rxton 3 Blue, I measured the hardness and it was around 52d. I figured it would get a bit softer after some breaking in. Instead, I measured it today and it was 54d. I've never seen a rubber increase significantly in hardness like this and can't even guess at the reason.

54 degree backhand rubber is a bit too crazy for a noob like me so I'm changing to a Xiom Vega Pro 2.0 that I bought on sale a while ago. I'm going to miss the nice blue color of the rubber though :(

It can be :
- temperature
- humidity
- the way you measure
- where on the rubber you measure
- factory booster evaporated

- temperature - same as always in my apartmnt
- humidity - same as always
- the way you measure - using same durometer
- where on the rubber you measure - measured on over a dozen different places both occassions
- factory booster evaporated - possible explanation since my other Rxton 3 Blue rubber is also now 54 degrees as well.

On the plus side, I've apparently been playing BH on hard mode (literally and figuratively). Going to take a while to adjust to medium hardness rubbers but I'm guessing it'll be a much easier to use eventually.

Why not use the rxton 3 blue for fh?

I did for a few months a while back. Was really powerful and good for flatter hitting. But developing my FH with the LAC felt better because I could actually feel the rubber grab the ball. Rxton 3 Blue is the best rubber I've used for killing the ball and ending a point but I want to develop my spin and control more.

I went back from the Telson to the Rxton 7. Rxton 7 is better for what I want (higher arc mainly), less good for mid range strokes. I still don't know if it's relevant for me to play with none tensor on BH. But for sure Rxton 7 is the chinese rubber I prefer on my BH. I'm boosting Telson 100 slightly to see if it makes it better for me (1 layer of yellow seamoon).

I found an early bird deal for Rxton 7 H40 for $14 so I ordered it.

This is the first time seeing H40, so I hope it is better

Can anybody tell me about the durability of the telson 100? It's been out a while and I wonder how it fares.

Also can someone tell me how similar it would be to goldarc 8 or Matra pro? Throw and speed? I'm thinking of getting some for my forehand
Personally, i think gold arc 8 is much better. Grippier, more responsive

Why would it be better ? R7 is made for BH, there would be no use of a R7 40°, it would be a simple LAC.

There's no comparison between G8 and T100. T100 is not bouncy, and does not suit the same play style at all. Throw is way higher on GOldArc 8 and that's normal, it's designed that way. I should test Mantra Pro today by the way.

You make it so definitive. None is better than the other. You can prefer one, but it's your taste and technique that decides. I certainly prefer T100 qualities for example.

Well you might be right about rxton 7. H40 pretty much just sounds like LAC. But even if i got the h37, i think its too slow for my bh.

About GA8, I didnt say definitely. I said personally just for my taste, i find GA8 better because it is both grippier and more responsive with more rebound
