Hi, has anyone here tried the Donic Bluegrip C2? If yes, I was very curious to know how durable it is and how much time does it need to wear out without protection sheets.
I did clean the rubber after every training and I did apply the white protection foil it came with all the time. I recommend you do the same.
Yes, the white protection foil is the best thing of the whole package.
I've used it for other rubbers for quite some time. Actually until I finally learned to use gravity to put those transparent plastic protective sheets bubble-free on my rubbers
Sorry for being negative, the rubber - I'm glad I tried. But the durability definitely is not its strong side.
That's funny since I do the same. That white plastic better than the "free" protection foils some shops give. The H3N glue side white plastic is pretty good as a protective foil too, almost the same 😅
The topsheet will get really ugly in a few hours of play, I think this is a characteristic of the ESN C-touch topsheet. Probably black shows it much more than red, so if you care about it, you should get C2 in red. I didn't particularly notice a massive change in play due to this.

Does this white protection sheet come with all other rubbers?

No, I think only C-touch ESN rubbers come with that white plastic on them. Normal sticky ESN rubbers (like Rakza Z) come with a transparent foil, non sticky rubbers usually don't come with any foil.
Not to bad then.It lasted more than 3 months for me (3x2 hours training per week)
I was told K3 and C2 is 100% identical and made in same factory. Not to bad then.
The biggest difference to K3 is the throw angle a bit bigger right? If someone can compare them.
well that sounds even better. I use 09c already. What is the durability on C2?i tried both and they are really different rubbers. just because they made in the same factory doesn't mean they are the same. K3 is softer and has way more catapult, a hybrid closer to tensor. C2 is more in the realm of D09c, a hybrid closer to chinese.
I've played with both of them recently. I have FZD ALC with D09c, and my friend's TB ALC with Bluegrip C2. C2 feels softer and easier to play than D09c. There's just no effort with C2, and the feeling is also good.i tried both and they are really different rubbers. just because they made in the same factory doesn't mean they are the same.
