Viscaria also has huge variation. From 1370s to 1550! We are literally talking about different blades here
some of that variation is due to ppl not using the same measurement condition, but you can expect ~50Hz variation between same model blades even from premium manufacturers because wood is not(yet) made in a lab.

Actually I don't know how reliable this frequency

Still, isn't the point of buying expensive blades that they have high selection standards for their wood?

Might as well just buy Stuor

do you think its worth it the extra $10 to get the target pro national?
Absolutely not! National is terrible. It uses a totally different type of sponge, its like a cake soft sponge and it doesn't work with the tacky topsheet.

The Target Pro 3 uses a dense chinese sponge and reacts wonderfully well to booster.

Loki GTX also has a great response to booster, and it works great as a D09c replacement.

dude thank you! i'm going to get the target pro 3 and use a couple layers of booster. i just realized i have playable sheet of d09c that i will use for my backhand (i ended up replacing both my D09c sheets the same time i threw on the Provincial DHS hurricane 3 black rubbers on my viscarias). my match paddle still had a pretty decent d09c on the backhand but the robot paddle rubbers were thrashed lol.

i'm searching for the sanwei pro but there's a lot of different stores that i'm not familiar with. you got a link for me @TensorBackhand

This is probably the single best cost-performance ratio rubber in the world.

I checked the prices of some of my previous orders in Ali before 11.11 and compared them with current 11.11 prices.
Many aren't cheaper. Some are more expensive even

this conclusion is getting popular on this forum and imo it's correct.

a bty blade is indeed more expensive to make because they had to pay for the r&d, but since tt blades are pretty simple products and the materials needed for manufacture are readily available, after it gets to market, nothing is stopping stuor etc. to just copy it and sell it for 1/5 price and still have a good profit margin.

also, big brands spend a lot on marketing because it works, the funny thing is that the money that gets spent on marketing needs to be reflected in the price of the product if you want to be profitable. so if you buy a product for which you see an ad for example, you actually pay for the ad too.

marketing is the main reason ppl buy bty blades for example. that's not to say that bty blades are bad, they are very good in fact. it-s just that you can get the same thing for 1/3-1/5 price.

On a French forum, someone was looking for an inner blade. I proposed the classic 05, Fang Bo B2 and others. People despised them, ''if it's 50€, it must be crap, Butterfly 180€ blades are worth it because of the quality control making them steady models after models''. ''Have you tried the Yinhe Pro 05?'' ''No, but it can't be anything else than crap''.

On another topic ''Viscaria's have so much variation!''.

Butterfly marketing is quite efficient.

It's a matter of established opinion, too. In the 60's-90's really nobody in the general public had anything like the Internet. Information was spread thin, ordering a random blade from the other end of the world and having it arrive within 2 weeks was unthinkable, that was for sure just money thrown away - provided you actually had some kind of means to pay a person on the other end of the world in the first place.
Butterfly was already premium then - and had resellers all over the world.

Their money goes to R&D, sure, but also a lot of it goes to contacts, sponsorships, contracts with trainers and coaches... They (try to) do that at every club that has people playing in national levels so I can imagine it racks up costs quickly.
So efficient - idk, but effective, absolutely :)
Funny thing is, there's a bigger club not too far from here with a few Chinese players and Chinese trainers - and suddenly you see Yinhe, Sanwei, DHS being used there!

I
Ended up with the Loki W81 outer instead of the Inner as well. Decent weight at 89g. Before I attempt to return it (I got the Yinhe Pro 01 for $27 so don't want to have two outers), I wanted to ask if it was worth keeping and if anyone had reviews for this blade?

The f*ckers at HWSPORT CHOICE store sent me an outer as well! How many are we just at TTD that got the wrong model, at least five I think?
