The choppers have really matured. From their noise making days to easily being the most exciting doubles team in the world to watch.

I used to be a big fan of KIM Kyungah / Park Miyoung the Korean chopper pair
but SATO / HASHIMOTO are even 10x better !

its amazing table tennis. Wherever they go, crowds will follow !

WYD has lost to nearly all top JNT players one way or another now. Hayata beating WYD twice REALLY is becoming forgettable.

It was already getting common way before that (10 losses to non-CNT players between 2016 and 2020, not counting T2 Diamond). Ni Xia Lian became the 1st non-CNT player to beat her in 2021, at the start of the Paris 2024 cycle. Hirano was the 2nd overall non-CNT player and the 1st double-inverted player to beat her and that practically opened the floodgate. Hayata's wins were nothing special as Harimoto and Mizutani put it.

Trying to watch Session 2 of Fukuoka yesterday and it says that Sony Music Entertainment has blocked it on copyright grounds.

So they probably used some Sony owned music at the venue and Sony bots went to work on the video.
