Why does everybody say Pro 05 is HL5 clone?

Yes, high catch and high responsiveness.

Sanwei 75 inner is the next best i have found. Lower catch but more responsiveness.
I have some testing to do
I have the BTY Francesca ZLC haven’t used it yet, Yinhe BD 39 on FH, waiting for Battle 2 soft red for bh
Stuor Harimoto same, Yinhe BD 39 on FH, waiting for Battle 2 soft red for bh
next week I try maybe buy a used BTY Harimoto complete with D09c and D05

Donic OTC inner, Bloom Power and Moon12
Sanwei 75 inner, Bloom Power and moon12
Don’t like the rubbers on those blades. I will put Yinhe BD 39 on those with Battle 2 soft or Bloom Speed on bh. Starting to like that rubber more.

Hmm. I think this is the feeling that I don't like.

I like my blade to feel snappy, like it is bending and then snaps back in place very quickly. With the Atletico Power and Telson China, I felt the blade never bent at all. The core is too thick. So it kinda feels like playing with a brick with soft layer on the surface of the brick.

Is the Pro 05 like that?
It's not like that. It's soft, but with few vibrations.

I also played with the Sanwei Vita ALC. Same thickness than Pro 05, so pure clone of Long 5x. It was nice, but it was with Target 3 and Goldarc 8. It deserves an Arthur China on the FH and a better rubber on the BH.

So does vita alc feel similar to pro 05?

Ok, I finally got to test out the Pro 05. Here are some early impressions.

First off, this definitely is not a HL5 clone. It plays very differently. It has a much denser, stiffer, brickier feeling. This is not surprising given the thick core construction.

In fact, it has nearly identical feeling as yasaka atletico power. It doesn't have that vibration feedback to your hand, and it doesnt have that whippy snappy feeling. I like the handle more than AP though. But i wish handle was abit longer.

The speed is quite high. Both looping and punching provide a lot of power. You can hit some pretty impressive power shots. But it just doesnt have a real nice feeling. The blade feels very thick and dense, rather than thin and elastic and snappy.

Do you like the feeling?
Yes, I play best with my Pro 05 and I love it overall.
My main issue with it is the "low/medium" power range where I sometimes struggle with blocking or looping slowly with less power and overshoot the table.
But looping underspin on FH and BH and producing spin and speed on loops simply too good.

Currently I just play with my Chopping racket - Stuor Harimoto ALC Clone.

I just ordered a Stuor Harimoto alc as well.

Compared to the Stuor, don't you find that the Pro 05 is too dense and stiff?

Can you also describe how the Stuor Harimoto ALC plays for you? Flex, speed, power, feeling, etc?

The stuor HALC is stiffer, less flexible and has less "feeling", than the Pro 05, imo.
A lot more control and less power - even before I glued the SP and had a normal BH rubber.
With SP its only 170 ish gram, which makes it like I cannot miss a forehand loop.
Blocking is almost automatic - I hold the racket and the ball lands on the table.

Although the construction is the same, it does not play like the Pro 05, or the GHL5.
All my 3 of my inner limba blades play like different blades.

How is the feeling of HALC vs your GHL5?
