My equipment: Am I an EJ?

So I'm wondering: Am I an EJ?

I have 3 main blades:

FZD ALC (bought last August) with Victas 401 FH and Victas V22 BH (bought a couple of weeks ago) - why? My T05 from last July wasn't performing well anymore, I couldn't resist changing the Fastarc g1 to try V22 on BH

OSP Virtuoso Off- 5 ply wood (Bought in 2015) FH HK1997 Gold (new barely used) BH Nittaku Fast Arc g1 (new)

YEO (bought 2014 when I got back to table tennis after a 14 year gap) - with Fastarc g1 both sides (taken from my FZD and from my son's blade)

-----------------------------------

Son's current set up (which I try sometimes)

DHS PG7 with Victas Ventus Extra FH (Changed from Fastarc g1 because Fastarc has a tendency to overshoot the table and Ventus is almost the same but better control), BH Fastarc G1

Older blade (used while he was developing) - Yasaka Sweden extra - HK1997 Gold, AK47-Red (best beginner to lower intermediate setup I know)

----------------------------------

wife's blade:
C-pen Avalox P500 , HK 1997 Gold, Ak 47red
C-pen YEO , Friendship Bloom Power, 999T

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other blades I bought for fun and set up because they were cheap and I just wanted to try:

Loki Kirin 3 - Reactor V5 Tornado, Loki Rxton 1
DHS Skywing - Saviga Qingji, Loki Rxton 1
Boer Lion - H8 (old) , Rakza 7 (from 2014!)
729 unknown blade with unknown 729 very hard spinny slow rubbers

---------------
Rubbers and blades in storage:
Mercury 2, MX-P, Calibra LT, Bloom Power, 999t, HK1997 Gold, AK 47 red,
Loki Kirin 1, 2

Yes.

This is like the very definition of EJ "Other blades I bought for fun and set up because they were cheap and I just wanted to try:"

Those be rookie numbers. Don't let those who cannot afford to EJ, EJshame you. Keep it up and you will find the breadth of TT gear knowledge and your truth of what really works and maybe the one(s) that makes you feel like you now have the possibility to get to the top levels.

Cheers

According to the ITTF handbook (director's cut):
10-15 blades = freshman EJ
16-20 = sophomore EJ
21-30 = junior EJ
31-40 = senior EJ
41+ = Jedi EJ

Disclosure: one more blade and I'll be a junior.

🙈 Senior EJ, still using only Carbonado 45. I must remain strong and keep using it

I just got gifted a harimoto super zlc with d80 max both sides flared.
And now I am like do I change my setup from long 5 or let the blade go to waste by never using it...
And you are here with 30 blades that you bought? And never use lol

Blade I have bought and tried: Butterfly Primorac Carbon, Xiom Axelo, Andro Treiber Q, Butterfly Viscaria Super ALC, Yasaka Matthias Falck W7, Yinhe Pro V14, Tibhar VS unlimited, DHS W968 Provincial Letter, Butterfly Fanzhendong ALC. My last blade I mentioned was my main and just broken down so I had to order a new one :<.
I'm kind of being called equipment junkie but I'm selling 2nd equipment stuff also, trying isn't that bad. At least I know I'm belong and hovering ALC carbon, buying a blade with that composition should be fine for me. Until now, I can play pretty much any other setup after few balls warm up, the technique is applicable skill. If you're still young enough, just buy a viscaria and take coach. It's the most balanced blade right now, it would be consider fast few years ago when the ball is smaller but now it's an average speed equipment.
The pros are EJing too, if you're above average you can EJ to find a style of blade u belong to and suit u.
