There's already R9 with blue sponge that happens to be up there quality wise, and now LAC with blue sponge. It's hard to keep up with Loki line of products; they have similar products everywhere. They really know how to take advantage of EJ virus, should change their name to Umbrella Corp.
R9 always was blue sponge but now they seem to have a special edition called :
" county" https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/S926acb13ea044f06a228ecb4456a3081k.jpg?width=800&height=1552&hash=2352
super sticky and pre-glued.

BTW, has anybody tried the red 37 degr. version ?

You pretty much sum it up when it comes to Loki stuff : "it needs a bit of luck" :ROFLMAO:
It's on brand for the "God of Mischief"

Sometimes he blesses you with the best value rubbers around. Sometimes he gives you bubbles.

I just found this on AliExpress: 40,79€ | LOKI-RXTON 9 Table Tennis Rubber, Pips-in Super Sticky Ping Pong Rubber, Internal Energy, Blue Cake Sponge, Fast Attack and Arc

What is the that ? Has rxton 9 38 and 37 degree?
Yes, I bought the H41 version.

I decided to return the H40.5 National one...because I doubt there is a real difference between national and provincial.

This seems odd, it's very cheap (20€) and has many more hardnesses than advertised by Loki in its own catalogue.
I think it was a special production run, either ordered by the sellers or the provincial team.

@mattlamperouge understands how these things work better

Someone on a french forum ordered a black Telson 100. It comes with a different sponge, Kunlun Sponge V, and it's blue instead of the red advertised by Loki. It's odd and it makes Loki's range of rubbers totally unreadable.
sounds pretty cool. Where is this available?

Just played a match with LAC in red, green package.
Glued on my Yinhe Pro 05.

Idk what it was, but my first impression is that it's strange.
Something felt off and not right.

Couldn't hit a good forehand, nor a good backhand with it.

The balls just flew off the table.

It was only 1 match, but it went to 5 games against someone I usually beat 3-0 half-asleep.

Or maybe I am just too comfortable with my other racket.

Rxton VII then ! ...
Thanks again for the recommendation.
I have put a Rxton 7 (37°) on a spare W968. I only ordered one red one in 37° and the rest 39° & 40° in black and it happened that i only wanted to replace the coloured one on that spare W968.

Initially i thought i'd try the 39° first and then move up or down the hardness based on my initial impressions.
Now having had one 90 minute session of system training (and switching from LAC to Rxton 7 37°) brought me exactly what i wanted. I can give more power into the ball when looping without risking to overshoot (like with the LAC). I will continue to test that setup a while.

remember there were several versions of this rubber. Many players valued one version as "the best thing since sliced bread" and many other players, me included, reckoned it was a great sheit of a rubber. Then we had of course the version with the bubble too etc. etc.
My version was like playing with a layer of 1mm cork instead of a proper rubber.

reviews of Red Rxton 9 i saw seem to agree that it isnt as good as Black, only a few reviews though, most were or 37deg

Special orders make things confusing, Remember old Arthur Pro that was in theory similar to non tacky arthur china? They had the Larc number registered. To order that was minimum 300 units, same for T3 w81, rxton 3 TOP etc.
Shops are able to order custom packaging too if ordering enough qty

I've been playing with RXTON 9 37 degree on the backhand for the last month, and really loving the rubber.
I first tried RXTON 7 37 degree, but didn't like it at all, so removed it after the first training. (I guess it makes sense since i also hated LAC)

Normally i play H3N 38 deg on BH, but I like the feeling of RXTON 9 more. The denser sponger has a higher power reserve when hitting harder, and blocking feels better as well.

I've decided to switch permanently and bought 8 sheets during 11/11 sale.

I received a Rxton 1 Train 36° version for a friend. Hardness measured at 49° Shore-C, so 51/52 ESN. It's harder than my LAC that are measured at 46/47°. Loki can't be consistent with their sponge hardness. I boosted it and overnight it became 44° measured.

Is it fast and bouncy after booster?
