Butterfly 05fx alternatives

I would like to resurrect this thread.
For the FH?

Today I tried Omega 7 euro in 2mm on fh but it is very different too 05fx.
Maybe not bad but different, i think I was more consistent with it in all round play.
Better blocks and drives and serve returns.
Worse in arc and loop and serve.

But it's maybe too far away from 05fx.

So I keep thinking about C1 but never try it, but i think I would like it being 2mm and having the thick topsheet
Otherwise I am tempted by Omega 7 pro but worry it will be too similar to MX-P

Would be very interested what thomas pong and Next level have to say as they are experienced in the C1 I think from memory!

Although I felt better with the tenergy the stats suggest otherwise. Same opponent!

I have never used 05fx because I found it too soft for what I do. But someone who liked it a lot @Der_Echte liked Aurus so I would start there. C1 is a good rubber but I could play with it and not 05fx and I really can't explain why lol.

There are some who says Rubber X or Y is too slow. However, just a caveat, fast rubber also means the coming back ball will be equally or faster. This is physics 101!

I agree. If someone wants Butterfly rubber, then buy Butterfly rubber. You cannot duplicate that.

For my backhand, I have used C-1 for the past 3 months and it is falling apart. So I am debating if I should change that C-1 to another C-1 or go back to trying Acuda S2.

In that period of time, my backup blade had Rozena on it. My backhand I can go back and forth from C-1, Acuda S2, Rozena, Xiom Vega Japan/Asia and BlueFire M2 without much adjustment.

I have tried both 05fx and 64fx and they are just too fast for me. I don't feel the control that I like. But hey, I like Rozena!

Therefore, finding the right equipment is very subjective topic. You have to try it yourself to figure it out.

And I agree. If you want Tenergy 05fx, just go ahead and get it because you are not going to find a replacement. And Tenergy lasts forever. Take a good care of it. Clean the surface every time after you play. Don't leave you racket in the car and subject it to extreme heat/extreme cold. Put a side tape on your blade to protect the blade and rubber. You will have a good time playing with Tenergy 05fx for a long time!

Yes But I only like 05fx when I am the better player or I am playing well.
It makes serve return harder
it makes touch shots harder
it makes smashes harder

I also despise butterfly, why can i not buy butterfly from TT11? It is the only brand. Butterfly and Apple are both borderline illegal IMO in how they sell their products and I despise them both, they basically price fix and force you to buy from certain re sellers - shocking

BTY is only doing what they can to make sure their customer gets what their customer orders, not some cheap knock-offs sold as original.

If people would stop faking BTY products then sure, there's no point in controlling the distribution. But that, unfortunately, will never happen - any company that does even the smallest innovation will be copied and faked by those who are in for a quick cheap buck.

Any alternative rubbers with nice spin, arc,maybe also with a bit less speed and maybe softer?
I tried andro R42 but like its to hard.
I like soft rubbers.

You want leas speed than the fx version?

You are in luck coz' Butterfly is a brand that caters to all.

There is the Sriver Fx or Flextra. Anything slower still... try pickleball.
