Interesting... I just visited your website and saw the models listen. Tho not a cpen player, I was drawn to the stiga cyberspace looking blade, with what looks like short cpen handle.
I was wondering for your main jpen, as shown in the picture on top, is that 10mm? And what is the size of the blade head and grip.

These look sick! Congrats on the clean blades bro

What type of cypress is it? How about the hardness and weight

Grain?
Thank you!
Everything in here is taiwan hinoki / meniki

In my opinion its like around 10% more in dense and weight for each species
japan hinoki (kiso) < taiwan meniki < taiwan hinoki

Alright, seems pretty worth it to me. I'd recommend this to any aspiring Jpen player ngl

I have a crazy request: Make a Jpen where the closer to the edge of the head, the heavier it becomes, making it like a wrecking ball or hammer

Or a cyber shape Jpen that's gonna be sick

Yep that cyberspace giving me thoughts already.

I was thinking the slightly tapered off narrow head design of the modern Xiom Hibi O blades for easier backhand to forehand. I think these have good power too.

I think you can get more sales with that

Genuinely fun to make creative blades with some sort of specialty, uniqueness is really nice
I'm excited too. Never heard of taiwanese hinoki before so would be interesting to see it play out

Just wondering is the back of the blade painted black or red with fingers rest cork. Maybe for thinner blades if they come up in the future, 9mm and below, the back cork will be cut short for rpb rubber.
As for that maybe for those models come up with a rounded head model like the miyabi.

Yea , any shape, thickness are customisable, but due to weight of Taiwan cypress , it may not suitable for two side inverted rubbers🥲
Most likely, that's why Jpens are usually one sided. Why not go all in then, with the most diabolical blade ever, 2cm thick (20mm) full on Jpen monster, make the handle extremely light too for sledgehammer power. Place Bluefire M1 or Tenergy 05, speed demon

Or, 3 plies: one Taiwan cypress, one ZLC, one Taiwan cypress. Place the carbon extremely close to the surface of the forehand side of the racket, and the rest of the 20mm is cypress. Place that with the two rubbers mentioned above (boosted and with speed glue) one smash is all it takes

I am always envious of you JPen'ers. You have so many options when it comes to one ply... lil'poor Gozo who plays shakehand style can only drool with envy.
This is your chance, a truly bespoke blade with your darker speed 90
