I feel maybe WTTC and world cup still need to implement the no more than 2 players from a nation rule to get more excitement. Just play more group stage matches if needed.

I don't really feel like five or six of the best players in the world should be screwed out of competing in their continental cup to make the semis more exciting for you. But whatever.
