诗祖屈原兮 打到后面总感觉有点喘不上气,感觉体力不是很足的样子,是不是该加强体能训练了?

(It seemed to me she was catching her breath near the end and was a little low on energy. Should she strengthen her physical training?)

LYJ, Miwa and Tomo are the ones who can get things done when the chips are done anyway. Nobody truly expected Ito or Uda to have a decent chance in their matchups.
LYJ is a more fluid, skillful and savvy HYZ. Beating an in-form LYJ would be a great achievement.

What a battle between HYZ and LYJ! LYJ's experience won out in the end, with HYZ making a couple of relatively simple (for pros) mistakes near the end. LYJ vs. WCQ is gonna be a great one to watch tomorrow, and HYZ can hold his head up high as he appears to be cementing his position next to LSD as the leaders of the next generation of the CNT!

Also, KM continues to surprise, this time taking down WYD convincingly. Having beaten WMY and WYD the last couple of tournaments means she's now overtaken QTY as the one to take the spot vacated by CM.

Amazing war between SYS and Miwa. Miwa ran out of steam there at the end but while still fresh SYS brought out the best out of her.
Crazy match. The final comeback from SYS was epic to say the least. Miwa nearly got her by super outrageous BH down the line counters that would put her brother to shame (Tomokazu where is your BH these days?!!!).

I have a feeling that Miwa will best her brother these days in BH-BH. Tomokazu has more power in the FH but that is about it.

Harimoto needs to train a BH loopkill against underspin. All the point patterns where he loses dramatically are basically ppl pushing long to his BH to invite his slow weak opening loop, and then counterloop it with heavy af spin to get the advantage in the rally.

I remember that he used to have a really early timing BH fast opening loop which drove everyone nuts when he first started out coz it was taken so early. But now he waits, but it is always a weak slow ball.... just why???!!!
That's the softness of his game that he said he's lost. For those shots, he needs to receive with the FH by turning the corner to exert pressure on the other side.

I have real-life experience with that. I visited a university club in the early 2010s and played 2 members there (a quiet night), winning the first one (inverted penhold twiddler with LP) in 3 games and losing the second one (single-side inverted penholder) in deuce after 4 games. The second guy told me after the match that he should've lost because of his grip (inferior BH) but he noticed that I never stepped around to receive with the FH the whole time and that gave him room to breathe. I didn't tell him that that's the whole point I switched to shakehand but like what Liu Jiayi said about European players, my footwork had become lazy and my table tennis "philosophy" took precedence over making the opponent uncomfortable.

yeah, and he did improve his receiving of Wang serves, the score this time actually showed his stability, though Wang is still more flourished. What he should focus on now is to get his rally skill back (his footwork got slower and the technique doesn't look as clean as 2 years ago) and mix in defensive with offensive (tbh if he has Harimoto level of blocking he could have taken at least a game)

I'm not sure how much I would include LYJ in that list with Miwa and Tomo of getting it done when the chips are down. In fact it seems like he's always so close to breaking through and falling just short, Olympics bronze medal match with Dima as the most notable example. Open to discussion though.

I personally think HYZ is ready to take the next step into the chinese A team or at least be the B team leader over XP. So close to beating an inform LYJ, and he’s only going to keep improving.

No doubt Huang Youzheng is worth nurturing going forward. XP has wasted too many opportunities since 2018.
